I haven't bitched about anything in a while. Okay, maybe that's not true, but nothing as important as directors taking their sweet ass time to tell a story. Just got home from munich. I mean come on. 3 hours for this movie. I could have done it in 10 minutes. Don't get me wrong, the movie is okay and probably touched home to a few more people than I, but does every wanna be masterpiece have to be 3 hours in a rotten chair. There was a thread in off the wall, but not much goes on there about the oscars.
im locked into reese and juaqin at nice + prices for actress and actor and like that reese is now a dominating favorite.
as for best picture, i've now seen most of them, and you can lock up the gay cowboy movie for best picture. haven't seen it and won't. im not homophobic, i just have no desire to watch gay cowboys. syriana is just too confusing, munich just wasn't award winning imo, good night good luck is too obscure, king kong too childish and too soon after l.o.r won, and constant gardner was too boring. that only leaves the cowboys. nothing but good reviews. so unfortunately, if you wanna make some coin, put some dough down on the cowboys for the oscar. i just bought some for the golden globes at -200 at oly. pinny is -253. had to pay that to get more on it.
