I know a lot of folks here like to share mp3's using various sharing programs, personally I do not like those applications due to security reasons. Anyway I found this little app that plugs into winamp and will record streaming audio, therefore eliminating the need for opening up your systems and it's open source so it's free. Granted it is limited to music, but if you are just interested in MP3's (like I am) you may enjoy it.
