Illinois is loaded with Juniors and Seniors,. which is very rare nowadays because everyone is jumping to the NBA right out of high school. They have been together for 3 years and know each other very well. They play TEAM Ball! Also they have a perfect coach in Bruce Weber. He has been coaching in the Big ten for 26 years. Most as an assistant coach to Gene K. at Purdue.

Illinois isn't your average Big Ten Team. You know the ones like Wisconsin that win games 56-50. They can and will light it up!


Now for Wisconsin, we all know that they've won 38 games in a row at the Kohl Center however, they had Devin Harris for a lot of those wins and slow Big Ten teams that couldn't score.

Did you know that Wisconsin is 1-14 versus No 1 ranked teams? The last time they beat a number 1 team was Ohio State 43 years ago.

Conclusion, Illinois is a special team this year. The Big Ten has never ever seen a team that can run up and down and score 80 points a game. Spot the 1 1/2 !!!! :mj07:

does it really matter what wisc record against #1 teams is. no one cares about stats that include games from 43 years ago. it has no relevance in tonight's game. don't throw out the 38 straight wins if you're gonna talk about a game from the 60's.

Nothing makes me more confident in my Wisky play tonight than hearing a guy named "Mr. Lock" declaring Illinois as his "Big Ten PLay of the Year". Sorry Mr. Lock no disrespect to you, just think it is a little humorous. By the way Wisky wins by 8, but good luck to you.

Nobody likes to brag, but Mr. Lock has had some big hits before on MadJacks. I recommend looking things over if you're on the opposite side of him. No opinion of this game from me, but just wanted people to know Mr. Lock is reputable.
