So. Cal
i have more confidence in the bears scoring on special teams or d (or gettign a turnover in scoring position) than the offense moving 80 yards....it's part of the teams plan and success...dont discount it happening, better factor it in.

jake d= turnover prone
mike brown = ball hawk

Kyle Orton is a joke. 8-13-67-0-1 vs San Fran last week. He played like crap vs New Orleans the week before and while the Bears won both games it won't happen this week. Carolina went into Tampa and did what they wanted vs the TB defense. Bears luck runs out this week vs Carolina and I see them losing 5 of their next 7 with this being the first one. I'll take Carolina -3.

Uh did you see the wind, better yet feel it? He played like crap against New Orleans, but did they win?...Is that the same Tampa D that Washington put 35 on and Wash scored 9 against the Bears at home...

Newsflash, Orton doesnt have to win the games, his job is not to lose them. I would hardly call the Bears D luck, they are very talented. Hmmm, Steelers last year had a rookie QB, a stellar D and a good running game. Granted the Bears backs are beat up but its the same philosophy the Steelers implement and their D is good enough to give them a chance of winning every game.

You still bitter that the Sox won? Are you really Steve Bartman?

Yeah, still bitter the Sox won and no I am not Bartman. Any other brilliant questions?

Bears beat some pretty bad teams along the way which is what you need to do but it ends here vs Carolina. You want to back Orton and the Bears D the rest of the way, go right ahead. Again, losers of 5 of their next 7.

this is a team that has REALISTIC super bowl goals, and plain and simple, if they are gonna get far in the playoffs, which I believe they will, this is the type of game they will win.

Panthers -1

first of all ...funny comment (Steve Bartman) LOL

that made me chuckle here at the office.

wash scored 9 points on the bears with ramsey at qb, and brunell was qb last week against tb.

Carolina has scored over 30 three weeks in a row, which often means a team is due for a poor game offensively, yet they are 3-0 with all three overs their last 3 vs Chicago.More importantly, to me at least, the Panthers are a perfect three overs in three tries this year on road grass surfaces. The Bears have had 1 over and four unders at home so far.I look for this game to go over.Gl with your big play on Carolina.

Panthers will be able to focus on the run more then you think. Lucas will be able to handle Muhammed by himself, and that is Orton's go to guy. When the run is stuffed and Orton is forced to throw to win, who is going to make plays for him? I will take my chances on the panthers, knowing that the bears best offense is their defense. The panthers are one of the most sound football temas in the league. They are good on Offense/Defense/ & ST's.
The bears will try a lot of play action again this week, even more then usual, and that is when Peppers is going to knock Orton's fukn head off. Damn I'm getting excited.

Carolina is evolving into a huge public play which alone should set off some warning signs. I think Chicago is looking for respect and they have more to prove here than Carolina
take the bears

Is that inside information? :mj08:

If Delhomme thinks the Lions hit hard he should ask Patrick Ramsey what he thinks of Lance Briggs.

Rumor has it, Gibbs sent the Bears a thank you card.

Almost, 13-3 Bears.....tough break....Bears are better than people think.....dominated the line on both sides of the ball.....and those pussies can run.

the bears played great. no mental mistakes. normally that is their downfall. it was a tough loss, but the bears are my team. it was bitter sweet. nice call. to many emotions mixed into the game pick. i am used to them making dumb mistakes that change the outcome of the game, but they played great.

tried to warn you.....mental mistakes came from last years team and a few games early in this season

take away orton's magic game vs the bengals (5 ints) and he's turning into dilfer from the 00 ravens and big ben last year.

this game was WAY TOO easy...saw it a mile away...every recreational gambler saw the panthers -2 and unloaded.
