My bowl Thread

I will post all my picks on the bowl games in this thread:

For tonights game I'm not sure if I will make a play or not, right now I have slight leans to NT and the under, a little stronger to the under. Will mull it over thoughout the day and maybe post a play later.

I usually do decent in the bowls and usually have 1 big play, the last two years it's been Georgia and I cashed both times, we'll see if anything comes up this year.

Well after finishing my research on this game, I am going to go with my inital lean and against what appears to be a popular pick and I am going to side with

NT +5 1 unit

A lot of people seem to be on So Miss, but I believe the line opened at 6 and is now down to 5. HMMMM

OK not a good start with NT, didn't play last night's game, and here are my picks for the next couple of days:

Bowl Record (0-1) -1.1 units

BG -3 1 unit

Cincy -1.5 5 units (would play it for more but not sure if Gino is going to be 100%)

UAB +3.5 1 unit, a lot of people on Hawaii, but I think UAB gets the job done here, my numbes have UAB by 2 might even play a little on the money line.

Nice win with BG, I think the board consensus is 3-0. Seems like eveyone was on So Miss, GT and BG.

Record 1-1 -.1 units.

I added Wyoming +13, just think with Spencer havner out, and his backup sent home for rules, wyoming should be able to hang with them.

Record 3-1 +5.9 units, still have UAB today lets see if we can keep it going.

OK UAB let me down in the second half, so that brings the record to 3-2 +4.8 units, still on the plus side though.

For today's games, my first glance at the lines when they came out was Virgina was going to be my largest bowl wager, well after more research, that's not going to be the case, althought I still like them here against a hot Fresno team.

I will also go against the board with UCONN today, even though Toledo has been a money machine their last few games, I am hoping off the train and going with Uconn.

So the plays for today are:

Virg -5 1 unit
Uconn +3.5 1 unit

Interesting to note favs are 5-1 so far. In years past the dogs have usually covered the pre new years day bowls.

Ok I have Miami University -.5 1st qtr +120 already played for today, and apparently I am in the minority on the game as well as I like them to get the cover today. So here are the plays for today:

good luck man. miami is the better team and, assuming they play well, should probably cover. but too many off the field issues with them for me to comfortably back 'em. i think you might have a nice play with the 1st qtr line. game should be tight though in crunch time.

Well yesterday would have been a total disaster if Ore St went down as it is I lose .1 units.

As for today's games I am leaning to UTEP and the under in the OSU/OSU game. I like how UTEP's D matches up with Colorado. I feel they can stack the box and make Klatt beat them, and Klatt has not been that great this year with 9 TD's v 15 Int. I have read that Barnett has been practicing his guys real hard, like it's fall camp, don't know if that's a good or bad thing.

As for the other game, don't really have a feel for either side, but think the D's will step it up and keep this under the #. Even though it seems like all the D's so far this bowl season have been on vacation.

BTW I forgot to mention while I didn't post it, but my local had Iowa St +4 yesterday :scared , so I placed a unit with him and was hoping for the middle didn't happen, but I have no idea where he gets his numbers.
