Your post describes the reason you shouldn't use that collar. WTF, if you can't get a dog to heel without choking it or using a torture device shame on you.

Why not stick an electric rod up his arse too.

I hope someone puts one of those on you....

Spoken like a person that dosent have a fucking clue as to what they are talking about.

Obviously. I've only been rescuing and training dogs since I was a little kid.

All 3 of the dogs I own were set to be put to sleep for behavioral issues. I still train aggressive dogs to this day with the Denver Dumb Friends League. But yea, I obviously have no clue.

Dont waste your time explaining Agent. The minute a picture of you surfaces holding a tiny dog and wearing it's training collar - you lost most of the elite around here.

Major difference in training a dog from a pup and training one thats been abused. If you really do what you say my hats off to you.

It all boils down to the person on the end of the leash. Used the right way...no harm comes to the dog. Abuse or use it the wrong way and the dog ends up by you.
You dont use it on abused dogs and thats the way it should be.
Now my dobe has had it on maybe 5 times total (3yrs old now) Now he wears a soft collar unless I take him to petco. Then he gets a choker put on him (up high on the neck) because he is still prone to have a stupid moment every now and then.

Different people use different methods but it shouldnt matter as long a the dog isnt hurt and the end result is the same.
