I agree with 98% of what you said but, we have to finish what we started in Iraq. Then f you everyone its time to take care of the good old U.S.A. Take 100,000 troops and put them on the mexico broader. NO MORE FREEBEES. As for France and Canada you been bitting the hand that been feeding you to long.As for Great Britain how can we help you!!!!!!! As for NATO are you with us or not. Its in for a penny in for a pound thats an alliance. It not just when it benefits you. This all must stop!!!!!!!YES AND THANK ALL THE VETS AND EVERYONE THAT PROTECTS THIS GREAT COUNTRY.

Wilson you must be out of your mind. I would have loved to see us spend 200 billion right here at home on security. Holly cow think of the jobs we might have created. Now we got 200 billion down a rat hole and maybe another 15 or 20 more. Chit im all for it bring everyone home fu?? Iraq. It was a mess when we got there. So what's so bad about leaveing it that way. It will be come the biggest terroist camp there is and we will know right where they are. Then we can just bomb the shit out of them every other week. As so many from the right alway say.
And now with the troops home. Triple our border guards. Hell but afew thousand on the docks and the rail stations. Lets actually try to protect the good old USA. Not this half as attempt going on now.

"It is time to eliminate World Cup soccer from America. "

LMAO when I read that line!

Wouldn't mind seeing about 1/2 of this come true.

You forgot the part about developing gas alternative transportation to relieve us of our reliance on middle east oil.

Until we do that we are unmistakenably tied to the outside world.

At some point we are going to have to bite the bullet and force the auto makers to make a affordable gasoline alternative car, develop the infastructure to make it convienent, and mandate their use. Then we can tell the Middle east to hit the road.

I am in favor of closing the borders for an indeterminate time. No country in the world allows the amount of immigration into their country like the US does.

Of course baseball would suffer but who cares.

"the bunker"
if

if

this were possible...i`d agree with a majority of what f&s posted....

twofingers also really hit the nail on the head....if we can`t become oil independent,we will never extricate ourselves from the cesspools of the rest of the world....

we are all pretty pissed right now.....understandably so....

they run us down around the world...the france`s and the germany`s....with their failing economy`s....trying like hell to forge a socialist europe....

the middle east with their "free" media like al jazeera.....i think i feel like puking after typing that...how can you ever hope to capture "hearts and minds" with virulent, puss oozing scum like al jazeera spewing unmitigated lies, half truths and propaganda under the guise of a legitimate news source?....forget the hearts and minds....it ain`t happening....should we abandon israel?...a country that basically believes what we believe in....has the same value system.....principles......would israel be obliterated?.......another holocaust...i think so....it`s happening around the world as we speak..not just in the middle east....can we abandon them?....love them or hate them, can we turn our back on them in favor of radicals that are the antithesis of everything we hold dear?

maybe the motives for what we do aren`t always as genuine as we`d like them to be.....but,i have to believe the world is a better place with the U.S.. in it......if not for this child of the british isles, think of how differently the world`s landscape would look right now...would they all be speaking german?....russian?.....

they resent us....admire us....hate us....need us.....

who is doing it right?....them or us?....would you trade places with anyone around the world?

the ultimate love/hate relationship....

excellent posts....

I have not been associated with this board very long, but I have found you're post the most objective, and laced with intelligence... A joy to read...

I do respectively disagree with you regarding the defense of Israel.. Israel has been kicking Arab ass for over three decades... They are more than able to defend themselves, and willing to do so.... They just need left alone

F & S:

How many cases of corona did you have before writing that? Good Lord, I thought isolationism went out with the Rutherford B. Hayes administration.

By the way, whose going to make the products that our rich republicans need to buy? And then after a while when our wonderful, honest and ethical corporations need to expand there markets where shall they go?

If I were you, I would leave the intellectual stuff to those of us who have not downed several hundred corona's in the last 2 hours. Hell, when I first read your post, I thought Ctown had written it.

This is even below your sub-terranian standards.

f&s...

f&s...

it wasn`t the post that got eddie`s panties in a bunch...it was your kind words to me...

thanks.....maybe one day we`ll have a beer....

and eddie....you should appreciate f&s` post....it paints an unrealistic, utopian view of how many would like our foreign policy to be...the key words being "unrealistic and utopian"......two words that are very prevalent in the liberal vocabulary........

all kidding aside.......eddie.....is there any way that jayson williams walks away from the chauffeur murder without doing any time?.....

i`m very curious?.....thanks...
