Read Jack's thread. I understand his point and agree with him completely. I have only been posting my humble opinions in this forum for the last couple of months. Recognized most of the members but it took me a while to identify some and their political beliefs. While most here are left of center, I am right leaning from a red state. That said, I respect their opionins and although I disagree with them, most posters here are sincere. Some are extreme but you take their posts for what they are, propaganda for either side. I love a good debate and find most here worthy opponents. In reviewing my posts there are a few times when I have been a little excessive in making a point. Also been guilty of personal attacks although they were mild natured and not meant to be taken seriously. I apologize to you first Jack and to anyone else here that has taken offense to any of my threads or posts. The divisiveness in this forum mirrors what is happening in this country. I hope that whoever wins the Presidency can unite this country and make it one again. As a conservative I hope it's McCain but if not I will give Obama every chance and hope he is successful in that endeavor.
In closing I would just like to say we all need to remember that we are Americans first. I love this country as I'm sure the liberals in this forum love it too. In the furture, although it will be hard to do with the elelction coming up, I will make a concerted effort to keep my posts & threads on point hoping not to offend anyone. Even in disagreement we can still be civil as it is the right thing to do. We all owe that much to Jack.:yup
