My FF team.... Let me have it!!!

Since I have beat up on a few of you, I will post one of my FF drafts and let you guys go at it. I'd love some *real* honest feedback because I think I'd fielded a good team in a high money league...well, not as high as Lee's, but it's $500 per team.

10 teams, ppr, 6 pts for all TD's, but a bonus for long TD's both passing, rushing and receiving, std. 1 pt for 10 yrd rec and rushing, no points for passing yards up to 200 and then 1 point for every 10 thereafter, kicker has progressive scale depends on length of kick, DST std scoring with return yards.

Looks like a very good team to me. Frank Gore in the 3rd round? That's a steal, IMO. Very solid in all positions, understandably a little less so at WR, but with Peterson and Gore at RB, and Wayne as one of the WRs, and Witten in there, it's really good. Can't imagine you won't be in the money, pending, um, well, I won't say it...

Thanks. Gore in the 3rd is a little misleading in that I drafted first and was on the turn, so I took Wayne and Gore at 2.10 and 3.01, but I was pleased. I also think that I will have a WR come out of no where to fill my 3rd WR spot.


...which reminds me, start 1 qb, 2 rb, 3 wr, 1 te, 1 k and 1 dst. no flex. Should have posted my starting requirements, as I have asked everyone else for theirs. LOL

Picked up Kaeding as an add yesterday in my league since no one had taken him. Hopefully he'll do well this year. Dropped Folk immediately when I saw he was available. Palmer is a solid backup if he stays healthy. AP is the player everyone wants to have on their team, and is totally solid. Not fond of McNabb or Gore but like all of your other early round selections, however I don't know much about it since it's my 1st year playing.

Like the Palmer to Henry angle in Cinci. Henry's always had the talent but was such an Ahole. The reports out of Cinci say he's matured and put all the crap behind him. If so, he may the biggest sleeper of the year for receivers.

Your other strengths are obvious, so you look mighty good to me.

Nice Job and a very solid team, not that Id be overly concerned with it but the Packers and Cards probably wont help in the point column too much, I think IF McNabb stays FOCUSED with Vick Looming and gettn a few snaps youll be fine. Palmer I am taking the wait and see approach with as that team is scary good if they ever come together and play, talent is ALL there(fantasy wise anyway) RBs are solid having to use 2 of them, other then bye weeks when we all struggle a little you should be fine at. WR is a position that may be one to watch, IF PALMER, #85, and henry all play ball...you r in the playoff....IF they dont...unfortunately that will hurt your team in alot of different ways. Lets hope for the best, and possibly find a guy that could be a producer and eye him up or even look to use Palmer and the WR in a trade bait situation IF the season starts hot. With McNabb I doubt youll play Palmer alot, so I always believe in using talent Im not using to nring in talent I will use...BoL and I hope I didnt ramble too much. I wouldnt sweat it, I think you;ll be fine, of course none of us have seen any of the teams you, I or anyone else that has posted a team will be playing. Then after seeing the leagues strengths or stronger teams only will you truely know or get a feeling for how one will fair. Again BoL u seem to have a good fantasy mind and may you reak havoc in your league!!!!

In a ten man league its a decent team, little weak at wr, but very solid elsewhere

I'm still brewing, so you can still get a sample, bro. I've teamed up with another atty friend of mine that is a bee keeper in his spare time. We are going to try to make some mead this fall. We will need a few folks to help sample the finished product...and of course, you're welcome to a few of my homebrews.

Yeah, I thought the same thing! Seems in all of the drafts that I was in no one wanted anyone from Det except Megatron. I scooped up Smith in 2 of my leagues and in both of them he is my RB3 and in both of them I got him in the 7th round. I guess I should be asking myself why *I* let him slip that far, but I feel very lucky to have such a quality back-up, especially in a PPR league. I suppose I could do worse.
