"...Quo fas et gloria ducunt..."
a so - so week, going 10 - 9

saturday's are the days that we live for in the NCCA HOOPS SECTION.

YTD: 233 - 194 - 5 = +35.95 units

1) Tennessee ML -165 (4 units)

can't see tenn losing two in a row at home in the conference and the SEC WEST has a hard time winning on the road....

makes for a good combo.

TENN 8 - 3 SU at home
LSU 1 - 7 SU at home

fawk, if i wasn't so small wager minded....i'd make this a ten unit play. HA.

:nono: :nono:

3) Southern Ill +1.0 -110 ( 1 unit)

this is the HUGE match up in the Missouri Valley conference....
we'll side with the home team in this one.
this is ONLY a one unit wager due to the revenge factor for creighton.

and just to drive us handicapers insane....was just lookin at creighton's home record.....undefeated...."hey, why not do the moneyline...???"

you can't....all their fawking game spread are like, higher than -16 points.... :nono:

YET, ATS creighton's only 4 - 9 at home...something to remember for next season.

4) another fantastic match-up in the ohio valley conference

taking Austin Peay ML -135 ( 2 units)

can't go against a home team that is 9 - 0 straight up and playing for a tie in the conference LEAD.
Morehead st hasn't played a road game since Feb 8th...almost a month...have they forgotten how to play on the road...???

5) it's saturday, feeling lucky again...

taking UTAH -5 ( 2 units) SECOND HALF PLAY

hell, all we're asking them to do now is win by one lousy point...
they should wake up....their 9 - 1 conference record is on the line now.

BIG LOSER!!!!

sick, sick, sick GAME!!!!!

kind of disheartening when the TENN team doesn't even show up.

but then again, you can't be mad at LSU, they came to play and what the fawk:

this from recap:

LSU jumped out to a 28-8 lead to start the contests, helping it take a 47-33 advantage at the break.
The Tigers went on a 23-12 run midway through the second stanza, helping them capture the 21-point victory.

LSU shot 54.5 percent from the field and converted an amazing 17-of-27 three- point attempts, helping it overcome a 31-24 rebounding disadvantage. Tennessee shot 48.1 percent from the floor, but was not able to overcome 15 costly turnovers. The 17 three-pointers was a record for the most long range shots made in Thompson-Boiling Arena history.

like, i said, i'm just mad that tennessee didn't even show up for this game....wish i had a fighting chance.
