While I'm hot, I figure I might as well go ahead and put in a few plays. Here's what I think about Tuesdays' matchups:

UNC-Asheville -4
This is a really solid play. UNC-A has played very well for the past couple of weeks. They beat a good Coastal Carolina team twice in that span (both times on the road). Also, if you look at the lineups for both teams, UNC-A seems to have the edge in the size department across the board for the most part. The majority of the players that get minutes for UALR are guards that are 6'0 or shorter. UNC-A also has a 6'10 center that UALR will have no answer for in the blocks. UALR has a couple of 6'6 guys that play 20 mins and 17 mins per game respectively, so it sounds like they will have to guard Cunningham (the 6'10" guy) by committee. The guard duo of Primm and Dickey for UNC-A play about 34 mins per game each....and both can shoot the ball well. UALR will jack up several more 3s than UNC-A. The numbers say that. However, my guess is that the size advantage that UNC-A has will force UALR to take tougher looks. I think UNC-A wins this game rather comfortably.

UAB +4.5
Let's face it, Clemson doesn't exactly show up to the big dance ready to play very often. I think these two teams are pretty equal, but you have two different mindsets coming in (in my opinion). UAB should be thanking their lucky stars that they are playing on Tuesday. Not many people had them in the field of 68. Now that they are here, I think they'll show up and play some good ball. Clemson just lost a heartbreaker to the Tarheels. There could very well be some hangover from that loss that creeps into this game. If UAB starts out the game with intensity, then Clemson will find itself behind early and the Tigers may just pack it in. I've seen it before. Either way you slice this game, I love the points.

Gonna add:

UALR-UNC-Asheville under 129.5

Small play on this one. I think Asheville's size will bother UALR and thus, UALR will shoot a low percentage from 3.

That gives me 3 plays for the night...which is plenty for me.

UNC-Asheville -4 biggest play today
UAB +4.5 medium
UALR-UNC Asheville under 129.5 small

Good luck tonight guys :0074

Good comeback yesterday. Good for VCU

Today's early action:

Clemson +2.5 (take the points....you may need em)

Morehead-Louisville under 131

Temple -2.5

All three of these are for equal medium amounts. Back later with more.

Good luck! :0074

Adding....

Kentucky -13 (not the same Princeton team of old)

Butler-Old Dominion under 122.5 (I think this game is gonna be in the 50s for each team)

Richmond +135 (They are the better team in this matchup)

Morehead St +420 (Gonna take stab at this one...I think they have a reasonable chance to pull the upset)

Here's what I like next session....

Belmont-Wisky under 128 (similar to the Butler-ODU game....slugfest on D)

Bucknell +10.5 (Gonna lay just a little bit on the ML +525 too. I think this is another game like Morehead St where the dog has some bite)

UCSB +12 (No faith in Fla to cover the number)

Wofford +8.5 (this will be a close game)

"You take the good, you take the bad, you take them both, and there you have......my picks."

How can I summarize the day? Well, I guess it was a good day. Any day you profit is a good day, right? Hated that the two bigger plays I made in the evening were garbage....but at least the other 2 hit. Overall, yesterday I went 7-8

3-1 on moneylines
3-1 on totals
1-6 on sides

So I'm gonna learn a little lesson and go with what I did well with yesterday and minimize what I didnt do well at.

Overall tourney record 8-10-1 thus far.....but profiting!!!

I want to play Texas for the game.....but here's my thinking. I'm going to wait and watch the first half. I think Oakland is going to keep it close early. That way, I can get the lower Texas line and pound the Horns in the 2nd half. I hope it's 35-35 at halftime :toast:
