My NFL Rule Change.....

Improve the 1/2 the distance to the goal penalty rule by making up the extra yardage by moving the down & distance line to finish out the penalty:


Example: Jets ball on their own 6 yard line, 1st & 10.....10 yard hold penalty on the Jets, half the distance to the 3 yard line now move the the distance to make line the additional 7 yards to complete the full penalty.....1st and 20 on the 3 yard line...Once the balls is at the 1 yard line just add penalty to the distant to make line.....Thoughts.....:shrug:

What happens the other way?

You are on the other teams 3 yard line, and they get a 10 yard penalty. Do you start 7 yard deep in their end zone, take a knee and get a touchdown?

Hadn't thought about this....Maybe each penalty that doesn't receive full yardage the Offensive Team will be rewarded 1/2 the distance and 1 point....:0008

I would put a ref in the box with video replay. That ref is there to overturn the fucking ignorant calls of PI, Illegal hits and the ridiculous facemasks the other tarded refs don't see cause their fucking blind.

amazing how many half blind refs throw a late flag and reward them.

How about a special penalty, say loss of a 2nd or 3rd round draft pick, if the total season
time Jerry "Clueless" Jones is shown on live TV during live game exceeds 5 minutes. Cursing counts as double time.

The game has changed no doubt. Those stupid PI's are a big reason. Just throw it up and hope for a penalty. Passing records are like home run records in the Steroid Era of baseball. They mean nothing.

I think officiating is a damn joke. The refs rely on video review for everything and cannot consistently call a game. All year I have been saying that the piling on of defensive players on a tackle is ridiculous, yet I haven't seen a call for it all year. Lo and behold, it gets called against the Bears on an early third down sack of Aaron Rodgers. Was a ridiculous call. It was completely evident that if that was Geno Smith, no flag. That entire game was a joke by the officials. At 4:41 left in the game and a critical play, the play clock read zero for two full seconds, no call, Rodgers completes the pass for a first down. Really? The video doesn't lie but it is what it is. The NFL got it's golden boy in the playoffs and that is all that matters. I am convinced that if Mike Vick, whom I completely hate as a human being, was the starting quarterback of the Eagles there is no way they beat Dallas yesterday.
The missed call on the field goal in San Diego is a joke. Just horrible.

I say no divisions round robin play, best record is 1 seed, etc...

Meaning you play all other NFC teams and the afc all play each other

15 game season and then start playoffs
