Oregon -10 hometo Stanford:
Nothing like some good medication to ease a couple horrible games from oregon, a bye weeek then stanford at hoime out to do the trick. People have begun callingfor buddy teevens head again at stanford. Oregon will roll in this game.. play ORE -10

Arizona +16.5 at Cal

Cal has no business laying more than 2 td's to anyone in the country right now. Cal is playing its worst football in 2 years right now and must reallly put a winning streak together to get bowl eligible. Arizona beat Cal s/u last year the week of the Mack revolt a thing that really brought the teammates closer to each other. Now that Clarence Farmer adn Mike Bell get the bulk of the carries, UA can keep the time of possesion with a good running attack. If they can win the TOP they could win s/u again. This is not the same team that got swept into the Sonoran Desert by LSU, these guys are better now and could beat Cal, but its tough to play at Berkeley, but AZ will cover. Play the Wildcats +16.5

ASU +3 vs UCLA
3rd ASU play for me this year nad hoping the third time is a charm. ASU is now 1-6 ATS this season after beating UNC on a touchdown as time expired on Saturday in Chapel Hill. THey are on cloud nine after winning a game tehy thought was lost. Teams traveling 3 time zones lose 75 percent of hte time and they got a victory. Not bad.. They are playing their best football right now, UCLA is starting Matt Moore at QB for the first time since an injury very early on in the season. Coach Dorrell has indidcated that he want to pass more this week vs ASU. I dont know why because that is hte strength of the asu d, if ucla wanted to run they could becasue ASU has had major trouble stopping anyone run. Another factor to an ASU play is Matt Ware and Rodney Leslie UCLAS top 2 defenders will not play this week. These injuries kill the Bruins. A lot of people think UCLA has been getting lucky this year, but give them credit they are undeafeted in the PAC. I just dont see them matching up very well here this week against a team in asu trying to re establish themselves as a top 25 team this year.

Agree with you on the Arizona game. There Defense has much improved and getting the 16.5 points looks like a gift here.

Good luck and thanks for the post

I hit UofA HARD when it opened at +18, however still think you'll be ok with 16.5. I seriously think UofA could win s/u, however a loss in the single digits is probably more fesiable.

"Swept out of the Sonoran desert".....? Good line :142smilie

I think Koetter is unfairly treated by the local media out there. I dont see him being out coached, I see the problem is with the mental preperations by the team. Anyways

WASH/USC- Hawkeye, this washington team is probably the most unpredictable team in the country to try and handicap. One week they are getting pounded by Nevada at home then follow that with a win over an excellent Oregon State squad. If Cody Pickett is on thhis team is brutally tough to stop and USC has shown a weakness in their secondary all season. The problem with this game is USC offense is practically going to score at will on the Huskies. Matt Leinart is putting, dare I say it Heisman esque numbers now as a sophomore quarterback. The only way I see Washington winning is in a shootut so if i were to play it I would play Washington with the over. But I would rather take my chances on betting the opening coin flip on the superbowl than bet this one! Good luck, im curious if your going to play it

That U-W win over OSU wasn' that big of deal. When the two of the three most overrated teams in the PAC go head to head, anything can happen. When Derek Anderson is your QB, you can lose every game you play, as taken advantage of by Fresno St. earlier this year. Derek Anderson has the "tools" but no "brain." The guy can't read a defense to save his life and frequently throws into double coverage.

U-W has a terrible OLine, barely any running game, and their defense isn't very good. They do have Cody Pickett, who makes Anderson look like a little boy. That win over OSU wasn't that big of a deal.

I agree with your handicap against the Bruins. I don't think they could run it past Marlborough Girls Academy. The reason Dorell is scheming for the pass rather than run it is that the O-line isn't getting it done for the RBs this year. L.A. Times reported Thursday that Dorell is moving D-linemen to the O-side in a stop-gap effort to get better athletes to open some holes for the RBs. The Bruins offense is 106th in the land. (Uhg...)

good luck
