There is enough break downs of this game on the forum already, and personally I think games like this most of the stats should be thrown out of the window anyways. But the odds are against USC there has been 7 teams that had the chance at the three-peat and they all have failed. It hasn't been done since Army 1944, 1945, and 1946. The reason why is because its damn near impossible this day and age. Yes, Pete Carroll is a great a coach and I am sure he come up with a game plan to stop Young, but its up to the players to execute the game plan. And once again personally I don't think SC has the talent or experience on the defensive side of the ball. Their defense is questionable in this match-up, and the reason why I think Texas has the edge. On the other hand you have Texas whom I think is the more balanced team. They have an defense to complement their offense. I just think Texas is going to get some key stops against USC, while SC is not going to be able to stop Young and Texas' other offensive weapons. I think in the college game it is a lot harder to game plan and stop a running QB and account for other play makers. And Young is by far the best running QB in the game. SC defense will be exposed in this game and their just not a complete team with that defense, kind of like ND in the Fiesta.
My score prediction is Texas 45 USC 38
This is my largest play this season, its no 22K like Scott but this is a huge play for me.
