1) Don't be afraid to draft Ryan Mathews early.
Think of it this way.

CJ, AP, Rice, Drew, Gore, Turner, steven jackson all gone before him.

Now you are left with: Mendenhall, Greene, and mathews as the most logical next three. maybe throw benson and charles in there. But I would def. pick Mathews out of these 5 to have the best year. If you have a late first round pick and decide to pick a RB he's the guy. Early 2nd, he's a must pick.

2) Going on what I said, just remember that this year there could be some RB's in the 3rd-6th round that could have some huge upside. So you may want to draft WR, QB early and not go so RB crazy.

Jahvid Best
Arion Foster
Bradshaw (think he gets much more time than Jacobs)
Michael Bush
Justin Forsett
Matt Forte (maybe)

So there are guys to choose from

3) QB value
Flacco, Kolb, Stafford have huge upside. THey wont put up the same numbers as manning, brady, romo, rodgers, brees, shaub, or rivers but they will be there in rounds 6-10. People also seem to underrate Favre. He did put up the 3rd most points in fantasy in alot of leagues last year.

Also, dont be suprised if Chad Henne, Vince Young, or Campbell have decent years.

4) Second Yr Receivers

Ill take Maclin and Knox over the rest. not including craptreee

5) Watch out for Malcolm Floyd

6) Good value picks

Anthony Gonzalez
Donovan McNabb
Mike Wallace
Justin Forsett
Santonio Holmes
Big Ben
T.O.

6) Deep WR sleepers:

Mike Thomas - Jac
Deon Butler - Seattle
MIke Willliams _ Tampa
Legadu Nennee - SD
Jordy Nelson - GB

FINALLY!!! Someone else talk'n fantasy......

I'm pretty high on Greene this year! Guy is a beast and Jets are gonna still run the ball down your throat. Not worried about LT. Greene is the man there! Mathews has been going early in many mock drafts so far. You got me think'n though if he's there....so far in one draft I'm in I have the #10 pick out of 10 teams, so I get back to back 1st/2nd round. The best scenario I've had is RB/QB with the first two picks. Greene/Rodgers or Greene/Brees. Mathews hasn't been there that late that I've noticed.....

Johnny Knox could have 80+ catches this year!!!! Big time sleeper!! Just hope the Martz offense isn't too confusing for Cutler. Forte has dropped big time in the rankings. Just not sure if the Bears can pick up on the Martz offense as it's a difficult one to learn or how long it's going to take them.

Sley.....who would take between Shon Greene and Mendenhall?

Also...what's your thoughts on Stephen Jackson this year? Again, we know STL is going to bad, but you think Jackson could have a big season and stay injury free?

jackson had 1400 rush yards last year and only 4 td's. i think and dont quote me but he had 89% of the rushing attemps that St louis had when he played. that is the highest in the league. Its hard to believe that he will only score 4td's this year. That being said, I do like him.

Your first question is tough.
LT should take goal line carries away from Greene but Jets had the most rushing attemps in the NFL last year so Greene will get plenty of carries.

Last year, pitt was a pass first team. W/O Ben in there, Mendenhall should be more a focus point. Something about Mendenhall worries me a little. He has just looked fair in pre season also. If your playing the odds take Mendenhall. He should more scoring opportunities. It wouldn't suprise me if Greene outperforms him though

Thanks...leaning Greene myself. If Jackson is there though I might take him, but the crappy team and the injury risk is a concern with him. Like you said, Jets are gonna run, run, run again this year and Greene is a beast!!

Man...is it tough to find RB's this year. This looks like the most wide spread year I've seen as far as teams having duo RB's who will spread out the points. Uggh.....

Sley....what you think about this draft. Doing some mocks and this pretty much looks to be what I'm look'n at with my #10 pick in my big money draft.

QB Rodgers
WR S.Smith (NYG)
WR Knox
WR TJ Housh
RB Greene
RB Forte
TE Shiancoe
DEF San Fran

Bench:

Terrel Owens
Jerome Harrison
L.Maroney
Lee Evans
Roy Williams
Carson Palmer

*Would be switching out TO and Harrison quite a bit*

Tear it to shreds or give props.....looking for positive criticism.

assuming your drafting like this

rodgers
greene
smith
forte

not sure how much i like forte therre. think its a bit early and javid best should still be around. He has more value than forte does there. Maybe forte in 5th or 6th.

WR are tough every year. Its hard to say who's gonna score 7 td's and who scores 10-12.

Besides for that, its looks decent.

Where it is real F ing COLD
Don't expect Jordy Nelson to do much this year.. He is a good player but the Packers have so much downfield depth with Driver, Jennings, and Finley.. Jordy will be the 4th or th downfield choice and will only be on the field for special teams and 3rd downs..

Add James Jones to that list. Guy is a beast but hasn't had the opportunity due to the depth that GB has at the position. If this is the year Driver goes over the hill, watch out for Jones to scoop up some of that production in the form of deep TDs.

Also, I love Greene alot this year too. Considering that the Jets were first in rushing attempts last year, and I see no conceivable reason for that to change, the guy is young and you know they're going to give him the rock and pound it. I see him as a great value bet at 15/1 to win the rushing title this year.
