My Tease

*First Leg of the Tease will be Pittsburgh -2*

I think the Steelers are a solid team and I'm just not sold on the Jets. The reason I teased this bet was because I think it could be 10-14 point lead late in the game with the Jets having the ball. Steelers at home in the playoffs can be a hard place to play.


*Second Leg of the Tease will be Minnesota +17*

I think this will be a close game from start to finish. I will also be playing this game straight up. Without TO - I do not see the Eagles blowing out the Vikings by 20+ points.

i believe steelers lost their last 3 home playoff games.

I would tease the Rams instead of the Vikes. The Rams should be able to hang tight with Falcons for sure, while Philly has the Defense to shut down Minn, Atl does not have the defense to stop Bulger and Co. Falcons are a pretender.

AR182 - wow, didn't know that stat concerning Pitts Home Playoff record. I think Jets are going to have a hard time scoring unless Special Teams or the defense steps up big. Thanks for the info!

Dizzayton - you might be right but there is something about this Falcons team (I have no idea what). I'm going to stay off this game entirely. I don't think the point spread will matter nor will it matter teased (Rams +14). Rame either win this one straight up or get beaten by 14+ in my opinion. I have nothing to back it up except my gut feel.

IMO excellent teaser AnkAnk. I had that teaser written down once I saw the lines come out. Jets should have some tired legs being on the road 3 straight weeks while Pitt is well rested. And I just can't see Minny getting blown out by more than 17. They lost by 11 with TO playing. With him gone it may be hard for them to blow out Minny unless Westbrook is able to run wild on them.

Gotta agree with Pitt as 1st part of a teaser, not sure about Minny though as I'm thinking taking Philly down to -2 1/2 .... of course that would be the "square" teaser of Pitt/Philly but can't see how that wouldn't hit. Good luck this weekend.

Geno - IMO, I think Minny has a better shot of winning the game then Philly does of blowing out the Vikings by more than 17 points - thus the tease for the Vikings. I hope we can both "middle" and win.

AU2000 - good luck on your teases. I just want to say - watch out for this Atlanta team. I'm not going to throw 100 stats out to you but I wouldn't touch this game (Straight up or Tease). I personally don't like St. Loius +13 or Atlanta at a pick em but good luck - I hope it hits for you.

RexBudler - thanks because I took it big. I see the Minny line is down to 9 but it looks like the Steelers line is now -9 (even) Which surprises me because I thought there was talk about Chad having the flu.

AR182 - thanks. I think Westbrook wins them the game. Just don't see him as a big enough factor though to blow this Minny team out.
