This kid, Colin Kaepernick is a phenom. He is the fastest QB in the NFL. Faster than Vick, RG3, Luck, Wilson, etc. To go along with this blinding speed is an arm that is 2nd to none. The kid is smart and a gamer. San Fransisco has a very bright future with him at the helm. When he learns the NFL and learns to make better decisions, Kaepernick will be flat out dangerous. He can flourish in or outside the pistol offense.This team is solid and they are relatively young. I can see multiple Superbowls for the 49ers over the next 5 to 6 years.
I was mostly wrong about Colin Kaepernick. I felt that he would choke under the big game. He definitely showed his inexperience in the first half, but he took advantage of an opportunity in the power outage to compose himself and came out and looked simply invincible. Only during the goal to go series at the end of the game did he look mortal, and I blame some really poor play calling from Jimbo Harbaugh.
So, hold your heads high 49er fans, you have many great season to look forward to...:toast:
