Texas Can't deny them the top spot, even though I like Fla better.

Florida The team to beat in January imo. Too many weapons offensively.

Bama Was down on them early, but OL and defense very impressive. Saban doing a great job.

USC I think trojans will meet Fla for title.

OU Like OU here over Penn St, UGA and the rest

What's yours???

A big IIFF here.

IF Georgia beats Florida next weekend, would they move into your top 5?

Just curious.

Your top 5 is not much different than mine, but Florida would not be #2. I'll take Bama over them, for sure.

I would probably move Florida to #5 and keep everything else in the same order.

Take out OU - Texas - Alabama

Put in Penn State and Texas Tech

Texas Tech has a front line that is better 10 teams in the NFL right now.

They smoke Texas next week.

Not much reason to think that Texas can stand up against a good defense, but absolutely none to think that Tech can handle even a mediocre one. Texas should open as a TD fav, with the line moving up to around 9 by midweek. Texas should be able to score 40 against TT - its up to you whether you think Tech can score 31+ against the Longhorns. The only chance I see Texas Tech having is if Texas is so mentally tired from week after week of big games that they finally (and understandably) have a let down. If you think that is the case, wait until mid-week and buy it to TT+10 - you MIGHT have a winner with that.

Just a note - I was responding to Simon. I won't be touching this game, simply because I think that the MAJOR deciding factor will be Texas's mental fatigue (+ or -) and I don't have much luck with that kind of handicapping.

I saw that Texas - Through Scott post that they were racked around 111th in passing defense.

Have you watched any Texas Tech games ?

That QB can write poetry in the pocket with all that protection.

Texas Tech has played (scoring defense rank)
E Washington (FCS, bottom half)
Nevada (105)
SMU (117)
UMass (FCS, bottom half)
Kansas State (99)
Nebraska (60)
Texas A&M (110)
Kansas (77).

OF COURSE he has time for things like poetry writing, but that's not due to what is happening on the Texas Tech side of the ball.

As to Cie's original rankings, hard to argue with those rankings. On the other hand, Cie, if you were to list the top all of the FBS teams in order of who is most likely to beat all teams below them on a neutral site, would your list be the same?

My top 2 in this list would be Florida and USC.

LOL, would you mind booking that 9 for me? Actually I'll take the 7 you said.

I missed the opening spread pretty badly - the earliest spread I found was 4, but got it at 3' after a minute. I thought TT +10 might be a good bet if you looked at it just right. You can imagine my glee at finding out that I could bet at UT-3'. We'll see how it turns out. I am now officially through hijacking this thread.

edit: If you will buy a half point, you can get your 7 now - it took 30 min to go from 3' to 6'. I imagine it will continue to rise, but since you were looking for 7...
