Interesting games today, and tough lines.:director: I look for each team in the Butler/Mich ST. to play good defense and play to the most a 28-26 halftime score. Butler plays good switching defense and really Mich State"s offense is going to have a hard time scoring themselves. I look for a tight defensive battle, just as in my top play on the under with UNI and M.ST in the first half of that game. I look for the same feeling out process as I know Mich ST. will look to set it up and attack the Butler center down low and try to get him in foul trouble. Butler will hold there own as they out rebounded a more athletic K-ST. team 51-37, when everyone thought they would get beat down low. Mich state does not have anyone who can take over scoring on a consistant level against this butler team defense which is the best i have seen in quit some time. Look for a struggle offensively and a very conservative slow first half and i am pounding the under 57- for a very large play for me.:toast:

For the second game , believe it or not i like the over for the game. Heres why and it is simple. The 3 teams that kicked the shit out of duke all did the same thing. They spread the guys out on the floor and attacked offensively. You have a smart coach in Huggins and he will follow suit today. If west virginia hit any 3"s early, this game has a chance to be really high scoring , kinda the same as Georgetown versus Duke where georgetown kicked there ass by doing the same thing. Then North Carolina St did the same thing to them, and kicked there ass. Many teams don't have the athletes to do it, but west virginia is deep enough to do it. I believe they will. OVER 131

Normally a lower scoting first half makes for a higher second half score. But i thought the line would be 65 and i am taking the UNDER 68. Butler has to be feeling good right now. I am feeling really good right now, a little lucky perhaps!

:director: Butler will have the big guy the whole second half and that will help control the paint better and less offensive positions. Now on the offense, Mich state will again own the boards. Part of the reason i think this is a high total is because it will be a posession by possesion game, (IZZO, proved to us how he plans on playing. Take care of the ball, get it down low, rebound! DO YOU REALLY THINK THEY WILL MAKE 12 points in the first two minutes of the half like they did the first. One of the teams will have a drought and thats all it should take to get under. I would only worry about a over time not to be under. And if i am scared of overtime i would"nt be betting two dimes on the UBDER 68 good luck guys

Well I do like it as i wrote in my write up earlier on the over and why. I hit the two halves in the first game , and am playing with the books money, so lets play a small total of a dime on the first half OVER 60-. Over for the game is a 2500 play. So take that in mind if your pushing or trying to get even.

:director: Had a monster day and have reasons i like the under anyways just like the first game, so i have 11 points to work with i am going to bet half of my original 5 dime bet on the total of the game (picked up a dime on the first half) so i am going to risk 2500.00 on the UNDER 70 in the 2nd half .

I'll take my lucky 7-0 day and be happy duke won huge because Butler plays much better TEAM defense than what i saw tonight. West Virginia left that side shot for 3 open all night. Butler won"t. Maybe the line will be around 6- and 132-.

butler and the under. while everybody's talking about butler's defense, duke is also here because of their defense. both teams guard every possession. and butler will do a much better job guarding the perimeter than west virginia did. i don't know if anybody else noticed (clark kellogg and jim nantz sure didn't), but duke absolutely ABUSED kilicli when he was in there. he was lost every time they screened him, and duke got one open jumper after another because of it. butler won't have those kind of defensive breakdowns. duke may have peaked one game too soon.

also, i don't know if duke has the interior offense to get matt howard in foul trouble. he usually seems to find a way to pick up cheapies though.

monday night should be another close, low-scoring game.

of course, if duke is up by 6 with 90 seconds to go and the free throw-fest starts, i could get screwed yet again.
