Indy +4 $330/$300
ML $300/$540

Indy is 8th in points allowed and 9th in total defense right now. If they can keep this defense in tact tonight, I think they will win this game, and maybe easier than most people think.

For one thing. You can put me on the list of people not sold on the XFL MVP for the time being. In December if they are playoff bound I will be sold, but not right now. The thing that will potentiall kill the Colts tonight is the running game. They are 27th in rush defense, but 2nd in pass defense.

I look for the Colts to stuff the box tonight a great deal and let their CBs play a lot of man. They are number one in the league with the lowest amount of pass completions allowed, and I think they will show this off tonight. If they can shut down the Bus they will let Maddux try to beat them deep, which is not going to be as easy as people think.

My key matchups:

Colts 8th rated pass attack vs Pitts 22nd rated passing defense.

Bus and the 16th rated rushing offense v. the 27th rated rushing defense.

Indy 25 Pitt 20

ACE - Don't usually post but I'm a big fan of your skills. So I was happy when I saw you on Indy.

Tonight I think it comes down to who do I want to bet on.
Manning vs. Maddox

The way I figure it, Peyton is the man and I have no respect for Maddox. I can't see betting on Pitt and hoping Bettis does well. Because if he doesn't, you have to hope Maddox does. And I can't bet money on Maddox. However, I can and do regularly bet on Manning. Therefore, I took Indy ML for 5 units. And maybe, just maybe, we see Edge tonight look like the franchise player of old. I know there is a lot more that goes into handicapping the game, but the numbers I've been looking are mostly a toss-up. Therefore, i go with the better game manager, qb, and "veteran". Mr Peyton Manning.

go colts! :D
