.....because that is typical ND hatred there!!

I have typical Notre Lame hatred.

Websters:
Hatred - prejudiced hostility or animosity
Typical - combining or exhibiting the essential characteristics of a group

I hate them!

And that is a typical theme!!

Wow - I didn't know the Irish was ranked 9th still. They should not be in the top 10.

But to say ND shouldn't be ranked in the top 20 is just plain stupid. Give me a break. They would smoke half of those teams. USC and ND basically played to a draw. ND lost to MSU and USC at home... Who in the hell has Texas Tech beat? ND will not lose another game all year. The rest of their schedule is cup cake city.

I think what MCcity was talking about Mark May,Saunders, Wilbon, Dodd and the rest of the ass clowns who predicted ND would go 0-6 or 1-5 before the year started and continue to bash ND any chance they get.

BTW - Everyone thinks ND hasn't beat anybody. The Big 10 will once again prove their underrated when they once again beat up on teams in the bowl games.

Like everything else only time will tell. I think T. Tech has a good football team, but we won't really find out until they play Texas.

To make things worse for the week... I'm getting my ass handed to me on my picks. It will take a week to get over this hangover from the game and the dishearting loss. But what a great game.

So TRUE

Without rivalries, forums like this would be completely boring and only meant for math geeks trying out new formulas to beat the system.

As long as the ribbing is taken in good fun by fans like you, we all can have teams we "hate", and it be OK.

I may hate the Irish, but I respect them and they beat my team this year, so I give them their props.

Glad your a good fan and can take the jokes with 2 grains of salt.

so its texas tech that has been kicked around like a red headed step huh agent007? yea, i guess this ND schedule is pretty crappy. yea, i guess the game played against a consensus "NFL" team like USC was pretty crappy. 0-2 at home correct, what was the total loss margin of those games? what has ND's recruiting classes been ranked over the past 5 years? if you were a recruit, would like to see the dismay of o'leary and willingham? i know it doesnt matter but, take it easy mr. bond... the case is for the west texas dead raiders. james, do you have any concept as to what is going to happen to them in austin this weekend? no, that has no bearing on this weeks released rankings but, hold on to your lunch money when you try to get your money back on them +"whatever" against the university of kill the trojans in january longhorns.

honestly, if thats what your bringing to "downplay" ND to date... get it outta here...

as far as bush and leinart, they better contact lloyds of london because the 'horns are coming for they're heads!!!

Well, I thought they would drop a couple spots b/c they have "officially" lost 2 games.
They basically beat USC. Total bullshit ending in every way possible. Its all been said, but fumbling out of bounds to extend the game. Terrible spot, giving them the ball at the 6-inch line. BLATANT aiding the runner.
They basically tied Michigan State. College overtime is a damn joke. A completely different game. And, ND had a TD taken away. The guy crossed the goalline and then they knocked the ball out of his hands.
Also, I am glad of one thing with Notre Dame/USC. I did not want to see a classic like that go into overtime. Sudden death OT? Yes. But not the "shoot-out". It prob. would have favored ND, but who cares. Its a ridiculous format.
