MyAtmOnline withdrawal issues!!!

I went to withdrawal my funds from myatmonline.com as usual after I requested the payout from DSI. Only to find the US bank account transfer method gone. Below is my conversation with the rep from myatmonline.com

[Sean Dooley] What happened to the withdrawal back to my bank account option?
[Wendy] Currently, the US banks are having some technical difficulties with this option. As a result, we are only able to offer paper checks at the moment
[Sean Dooley] All US banks are having technical difficulties?
[Wendy] Yes
[Sean Dooley] What kind of time frame are we looking at?
[Wendy] It should be resolved in about 3 weeks
[Sean Dooley] Will I have any problem cashing a check from your institution at my bank?
[Wendy] No, there won't be a problem with that
[Sean Dooley] Will the paper check fee be waived since I do not have the wire transfer option?
[Wendy] No, because it is a problem with the banks and not our system, we can not waive the fee
[Sean Dooley] What is the time frame on the Paper Check - First Class Mail option?
[Wendy] It's between 7 and 21 days
[Wendy] Fedex is there within 3 business days
[Sean Dooley] Was there any thought on notfying your customers of this problem?
[Wendy] We can not notify every single customer, we have many customers
[Sean Dooley] Would you have the same problem taking money out of my account if I use the Fast Cash option?
[Wendy] Fast cash is taking 8 days to clear
[Sean Dooley] So, how then is it possible to debit my US bank account, but not credit it?
[Wendy] I don't know, the technical problem is with the banks. You would have to contact them about the problem
[Sean Dooley] And when may I ask did this issue begin?
[Wendy] November 9
[Sean Dooley] And where does the resolution forecast of three weeks come from?
[Wendy] I assume the bank
[Wendy] I really don't know, that is what i am being told
[Sean Dooley] Well I find to it very hard to believe that ALL US banks are having issues with the electronic transfer of funds and that in three weeks time this will all be magically resolved. Thanks for your help.

The paper check fees are

Paper Check - First Class Mail: $10.00

Paper Check - Fedex: $50.00


That doesn't bother me, but the fact that they did not send out an e-mail alerting their customers does. Also, the time lag between paper check and eft payment pisses me off as well.

Well contacted my bank and shocker that they have nothing wrong on their end. Therefore conversation numero dos just took place....

[Tianna] you will need to use one of our other options for a withdrawal

[Tianna] 1st Class mail $10
[Tianna] Fed Ex $50
[Sean Dooley] So, let us put this all out on the table your company cannot offer me my usual withdrawal method because of problems on YOUR end and after I was lied to yesterday about this situation you want ME to pay extra to get MY MONEY even after you have taken $15 to process my account load?
[Tianna] yes
[Sean Dooley] And that is good business?
[Tianna] I'm sorry for the inconvenience, our system that processes withdrawal to bank account in currently unavailable that option should be available again in about 3 weeks
[Sean Dooley] So, how is it possible to process to Canadian bank accounts?
[Tianna] we use a different department to process canadian bank accounts
[Tianna] I'm sorry for the inconvenience of the us bank account we will get the issue resolved as quick as possible
[Sean Dooley] I would not consider 3 weeks a reasonable time frame.
[Sean Dooley] Listen I know this is not your problem, but please put me in touch with someone with the authority to make this situation right. Because at the current moment this is unacceptable and we are getting nowhere.

[Tianna] I would advice sending an email and someone will contact you regarding this matter

You do have to enjoy Tianna's forthrightness, dont'cha?

Isn't it amazing how brazen some customer service people can be sometimes? I spent (I'm not kidding) three hours over two days about three weeks ago trying to get my PIN # changed for my NETeller ATM card so I could withdraw $$. It was the most amazingly frustrating thing I've ever gone through.

myatmonline.com I've never heard of them. Is it like a Neteller type company. I'm always looking for other ways to withdrawal money. Besides this incident...have they treated you well? Is it easy to use? Thanks!

Caveat: This was before this last problem, but note that this was the only time I have had an issue with them. Overall pretty good I would say.

Also, the rebate topic I mention in the thread might only be for the first month or so b/c I haven't noticed any rebates lately. Basically you pay $15 a withdrawal and it comes from the book payout. So, lets say you withdrawal 500 from DSI you will see 485 show up in your myatmonline.com account the next day and then you transfer it into your bank account and about 2 days later it will show up as the following:

AUTOMATED CREDIT ATM PURCHASE

I like that my bank doesn't see anything more then that.

I forgot to mention I can't compare them to Neteller b/c I've never used them for the simple reason that I live in MD and its not possible to get an acct with them. Not sure what Neteller is considered, but myatmonline fall into the e-wallet category.
