having said that, seton hall would actually strike me as a big time go-AGAINST in the nit. their hearts will likely not be into the nit at all after getting screwed outta the ncaa

thats what makes the nit such a unique tourney- finding the teams that WANT to be there, not the teams who are better than their opponent but heartbroken from selection sunday

NIT starts with Iowa-Valparaiso on Monday night.

BC will play at Fairfield on Tuesday. Drexel faces Temple and Villanova faces Siena on Tuesday. North Carolina and DePaul on Tuesday. The other first-round matchups on Tuesday pits Georgetown at Tennessee.

Wednesday Illinois-Chicago takes on Western Michigan, Providence travels to Richmond, Wichita State is at Iowa State and the College of Charleston meets Kent State. Wednesday's other first-round pairings are Texas Tech-Nevada, Santa Barbara-San Diego State, Ohio State-Georgia Tech, Eastern Washington-Wyoming, Seton Hall-Rhode Island, Minnesota-Saint Louis, Boston University-St. John's, Brown-Virginia, Louisiana-Lafayette and Alabama-Birmingham and a matchup of Hawaii and Nevada-Las Vegas.
