How can you award Smoke that win????????????

First he blocks the outside move allowing Smith to get his nose below Smoke on the inside. Once his nose was there then that should have been accepted as the pass. You punish Smith for avoiding the wreck which Smoke tried to make happen by pushing him below the line.

You don't reward a guy who is trying to block and even cause an accident.
It would have been different if Smith dropped down below the line strictly for a pass, but Smoke forced him down.

agree...tough break for the rookie...have to wonder if it was Stewart making the pass if they would have ruled for the pass to be legal...

not to mention goodyear dropping the ball...tires blowing out on straightaway's? c'mon now...4 blown tires in the 1st 100 laps of the race (Hamlin, Vickers, Reuitimann, Mike Wallace, and then McMurray at the end)

the one race I missed watching this year was Indy but I read all about it and it reminded me of that a little...

The biggest problem with this result is if Smith holds his ground then there is a good chance Stewart is the one who gets spun out. Then we have to listen to Stewart say he wrecked me and cry about that.

I don't any Nascar drivers(Stewart included), but I do HATE Stewart's antics like no other.
