Poston told me NASCAR contacted NBC, which confirmed they are doing the story (also reported here yesterday).
“It’s hard to even call it journalism,” Poston told me. I asked him why he thought NBC was targeting NASCAR fans for the racism sting. Poston vigorously defended the NASCAR fan base as “diverse, from every background in America.”
Poston expressed dismay at NBC’s “attempt to provoke a reaction from our fans” and said his organization was “confident they would not fall for it.”..........................................................................

forget nascar...send em to a raiders` game.....with a denver jersey on....lol
or maybe nbc could have the muslim-looking men strap on fake explosive vests with realistic hand-held detonators......
then, catch fans and police 'overreacting'......
think about what they`re doing....nbc,that is....nbc has this low opinion of the average nascar fan, just as they have a low opinion of everyone who isn't just like them (i.e. almost everyone)....... they look at an average middle class, blue collar white guy and think "probably a bigot."......what does that say about their own bigotry?
