NASCAR: You boys need anger management!

Your right there isnt alot of money to be made, in fact most of the drivers loose on averager of 200-300 per night of racing with family/friend pit crews working for free. Racing was cxl'ed 3 weeks ago for the season due to the spike if fuel prices.


They are going to have one big race in Mid Oct which should be alot of fun. Checkout thier site they have some good pics unityraceway.net

If you ever get up this way look me up and I'll take you up the the track and we can buzz around the oval a few times..........I've been working on the owner to bring one of his cars up for me to take a spin around the track at about 100 mph.....The car we have is a PT Crusier that they let us use for sum of the races, I get that up to 45-50 and you feel like your out of controll... A few weeks back one of my co-workers was with me and a local pro-stock driver asked her if she minded if he took her out for a spin, she agreed...The track pace car is a Camaro, he was on the track as well.....He got our PT Crusier up to 90mph with her in tow on this 1/4 mile track for 2 laps racing the other pace car.........The fans in the stands were going nuts, he pulled into the infield and got out laughing............I got in the car and she was as white as a ghost!!!!!!All she could say was "OH MY F-ING GOD" took her about 15 mins to calm down :mj07:

They do the same thing here in GA at a local dirt track. Its called the "spectator race" . These guys get more attention than the guys racing the modifieds or late models. Three rules to enter the spectator race, You have to drive it to the race, you cannot trailer it, It must have a seatbelt, and you must have a helmet.

boy will be boys in sports .. nascar is no different... BUT hehe not one nascar driver has went after a fan !!! all other major sports have players go into the stand to chase a dunkin fan .. football basketball , hockey and baseball....
by the way whats a helmet going to do to a car thats built to hold up to 190 miles an hour wrecks..lol.. nascar the best team sport.... go 48
