I won't do a long write-up but I favor USC tonight strongly. I think there are alot of simularities, size, speed and alot of wins under their belt's. I do give Oklahoma an advantage in the upper classmen department, and a heisman trophy winner has historically laid an egg in a bowl game. On the other side, I give USC a big coaching advantage. I know you are going to say Stoops is awesome ( and he is) but the coaching advantage in my eyes lies with the other members of the staff. Carroll and Stopps are both defensive guru's, but Norm Chow in my mind is one of the best in the business. I give the USC staff much more able to make adjustments and do what it takes to get it done.I also give USC a HUGE advantage in the kicking game. Both in the punting and place kicking department. In a game where field position is crucial and field goals could make the difference , I have to side with the superior kicking game. AS I said earlier I think the defense will cancel out, and the USC offense will beat OU with big play's ( much lke Auburn last night). I also love the USC linebacking core and I think in the end they get the Championship. I made USC a 6 point fav using my own number's when it opened 3 I was going to play USC . Now as an underdog catching 1 1/2 I'm going to bow my neck and lay it out there.
