since when did good deffense become boring? If OSU would have played a little defense they would be in the game.
I don't think ur alone in lack of interest. I am interested either way for obvious reasons. Espn, who pushed for this rematch, may be the biggest loser. Seems they may take a ratings hit from fan backlash.
I couldnt agree more, the ratings will be down compared to what it should of been with Okie st/lsu game..

This is definitely the best matchup and the TV ratings will be just fine after all the hype we'll get for the next month.
Is it a rematch, yes. Is that the first time it has happened, no. On paper does it appear to be another great matchup, yes, at least in my opinion.
It just amazes me how much discussion has been about this just because of the 'rematch' aspect. If they hadn't played each other, people everywhere would agree these are the top 2 teams in the country. People should be excited to see the teams square off again.

This is one of the bad aspects of the BCS that doesn't get discussed enough in my opinion. Way too much of a layoff for the top teams to battle it out. Think about how many of the BCS title games have started out with one or both teams looking sluggish and not like they way they played during the year.
I like the old days much better. This dragging everything out over a month's time blows.
The books must like it better this way too. All about the money.
Obviously all about the $ for multiple reasons, TV primarily.
The old days with everything lined up on Jan. 1 was the best. New Years Day, was by far the best holiday.
This year is NFL on New Years day :toast:

What is the record of frosh and soph QBs in the national title game?? Vick lost. Bradford lost. Cant think of others off top of my head. Gonna look tonight, though.....
