You definitely have a point. Lannan has been just miserable lately but the Cards just don't hit lefties. Hitting around .230 on the season and under .200 the past 10 games. Also, the Nats have done all their damage lately vs. LHP but they're (obviously) facing a righty tonight and they have hit .229 vs RHP the last two weeks.

I guess the total isn't based on respect for the pitchers, rather anticipation of both lineups struggling vs. their matchups :shrug:

Excellent points....thanks. I should definitely take the under. When I normally like something that much it never wins.
