Will gladly take the red hot Cards -110 tonight.

Hellickson has not gone more than 6 innings in forever, which means a lot of work for a beat up and revamped Nats bullpen that does not have a closer.

Also will play the Cards TT Over 4.

Nats are officially done. They simply can not beat good teams, you can only play the Marlins and Mets so many times!

May have lost another pitcher from a bad throw from a catcher that should not be in the major leagues. Nice work Rizzo.

This is one poorly managed organization and team, but I will gladly continue to make money off of them. I think they get swept so will take the Cards -125.

Nats are -400 tonight, yes -400. Seriously, you have to be nuts to lay 400 on the Nats. Its hot as hell in DC and the one thing Scherzer does is give up a home run or two. Cleveland is -400 also. Just for the hell of it, I am going to parlay the Marlins/Orioles which should pay 14-1 for a two teamer. The Orioles completely suck but I do not think Cleveland has seen Hess before so maybe they have a shot. Doubtful, but I'll take the gamble on a boring Friday night.

Parlay was a waste as Miami had no chance, but the O's could have easily won their game.

Man, Miami is one bad baseball team. The Nats simply underperform, but Miami is bad. Tough to bet on them, but no way I touch Milone at -200. I would say Over or nothing in this one.

I know I may sound like a broken record so this is the last time I say this ; Davey Martinez is the worst manager in baseball. Not even close. I am not sure that he knows bunting is part of the game. I have been around a while and I can not believe how bad this guy is. It?s pathetic that he manages a Major League Baseball team. Okay that?s it, but I really mean it!! He sucks!!

Nats talking like they are still in it (what else are they going to say) and will be for sure if they sweep the Phils in this series. Then they get the Mets and Phillies again, so of course they think if they go on a run they can get back in it. They also have Roark, Strasburg back and then Scherzer for this series. No pressure, they simply have to sweep.

I think the Nats are done like dinner after losing 2 out of 3 at home to the lowly Marlins. A sweep in that series and maybe they would be in it. They put all their pending free agents on waivers which is not the best sign. They are going to lose many of them for nothing at the end of the year. I think they are in damage control, but they have already screwed this up.

We are likely going to get the Phillies at plus money for three straight games. I will be using the Phillies in parlays ever day this week at plus money. It is tough to go against Roark tonight as he is very hot, going for 6 wins in a row, but he has not done very well against the Phillies this year and we always have the Nats disastrous bullpen to fall back on.

Was simply going to stop posting since the Nats are finished. BUT, I will take Philly as a dog at home all day long against a team that is not very motivated. Strasburg's last outing against Philly at home was bad and he has more or less been average at best since June 1. No way he should be favored on the road against a team he just gave up 5 runs in 4 innings to. Phillies +110!
