Just went back and looked at it. Navy made the first down and BC had no timeouts remaining. The game was over. BC coaches begging for a holding call on a normal block and the official gives it to them. What a shame.

Sure was. it was almost as bad as the other holding call they called against them to stop another drive.

skills they got robbed but they only have themselves to blame. Well i mean their coach. they get the ball with 6 minutes left and they are snapping the ball with 20 seconds left on the clock. 4 minutes he is snapping it with 15 seconds left. Finally he figures it out with 2 minutes left and starts running it down. At the end of the half he screwed his kids big time with those two boneheaded plays he called. Sure enough BC goes right down and gets a field goal. that was possible a ten point swing right there. Sad because up till that point i think he was doing a terrific job.

there was only like 2 penalties on navy the whole game, which came in 2nd half...no holding penalties is 1st half for a team who runs it 95% of the plays...they f'd themselves
