Hi everyone...let's see if we can keep things rolling - off to a good start so far in 2005...tonight i made my first NBA play of 2005:

2 team ML parlay:

Dallas -420/Miami -380 (.564 to 1 odds)
Risking $500 to win $282

Now i know some will say that's a lot of juice to lay on a two teamer - but the way i look at it is you are getting 2 very very strong teams who have a clear advantage over their opponents- Dallas playing at Charlotte - but clearly should dominiate the tempo and Charlotte will not be able to keep up w/ Dallas on the scoreboard tonight...Dallas has been a strong road team and well let's face it Charlotte has a ways to go to get to the calibur of the Mavs...

Miami enjoys a huge homecourt advantage tonight facing Indiana...and you can bet they will be ready to play and beat the team that knocked them out of the playoffs in game 7 last season...i look for indiana to have a long night and Miami gets the win...

And both teams do not have to cover the 7.5 to 8.5 they are favored by, and those are some tough spreads...they just need to win the game...

The bottom line is I feel this is a very strong money line parlay, if either Dallas or Miami loses tonight it will truely be a shock to all, and of course it could happen, heck upsets can happen on any given day...there are never any guarantees in this game - but I will lay the wood on this and accept a 56.4% return on investment if it cashes...any win, no matter how big or small adds to the bankroll, and i would have to rate this play as below average risk, above average return...

GL if you choose to play it or w/ all your other plays...hope to keep the hot streak going...

Adding this 2H play

Detroit Pistons -1.5
Risking $220 to win $200

Think they pull away from the Bucks in the 2H...

Come on Miami...I got the 1st half of the Parlay w/ Dallas winning the game outright (failed to cover the spread, so glad i moneylined it) - but Miami will make me sweat this out until the end - they just can't pull ahead...GL guys!

Was off tonight - 0-2 -$770...damn Miami shooting only 50% from the FT line...lost it right there...that was a hard way to lose the parlay - Detroit flat out blew it at the end...

Minnesota comes in! Love it when the line on the fave just a tad too high in the 2H...continue to keep an eye out for these...Picked up $500 on that one and made a nice comeback to end the day only down $220, so 1W-2L, -$220 on the night...if the Pacers don't put the game into OT, or the Heat hit some FT's, would have been another winning day - but can't win 'em all...

gl tomorrow guys...
