Thought I would try to sneaks in a little write up about the
Pistons Vs. Sacremento but as I look at the clock I realize I will be cutting it close, but what the heck. Bottom line is Sac is a great home chalk, but the Pistons have been shocking the league this year and have been great dogs overall to include the road. The one thing there is never a shortage of in this building is points, and it should be that again tonight. I like the Over Dog theory in this game tonight. The kings are complaining about the schedule and after the pistons have two westren conf. opponents. The pistons play very well on the road can score with the Kings, and will see the return of former king John Barry. Also keep an eye on the kings as they could hit a soft spot soon as they two have alot of games in little days. It shocks me when I look at their schedule," he said of the Lakers (18-3). Since we played them (Dec. 7), they've only had like three games."
Adelman didn't have a schedule in front of him, but he was right. The Lakers won't play again until Thursday when they start a back-to-back in Houston.
Conversely, by Thursday, the Kings will have played seven games since beating the Lakers and 10 in December overall.
"I suppose if you had one good break, like two games in eight days or one game in seven days," Adelman said, "that could be beneficial. But I can see (how) if you play three games in 15 days, (your players) get tired of playing against each other.
"But I wouldn't mind having three days off sometimes, then you can give them a day and have two good days of practice."
