NBA Capping: Any strategies?

I've been betting sports for a long time and learned to stay away from it. However, I'm still curious to hear what strategies people use to cap this goofy-arse league.

I was thinking "watch the police blotter" and bet against the team whose players were arrested in the strip club last night....but that's all I can come up with.

1. Flip a coin.
2. Home teams get home town calls.
3. Try to bet against teams playing the dreaded Texas road trip. Especially the 3rd leg.
4. Ditto for teams going across coasts.
5. If they get blown out Friday, bet them Sat, the public bettor is extremely fickle on the hardwood.
6. Play unders on high scoring teams playing back to back games. (This strategy only really works with west conf teams)
7. Save your money.

I think you guys just made my point. I know Don Wallace is big on te NBA, but I just don't see how anyone can be. The league is a joke.

My strategy is 3-tiered
1)Make an average sized bet, I drink a beer.
2)Make an above average sized bet, I drink a beer and do a shot.
3)Make a large bet, I drink a beer, do a shot, and smoke a bowl.

gmoz i think its the easiest sport to bet. Im just forcing things to much. Usually i rarely bet the nba till after christmas buit for some reason im doing it now.
