On the course!
Okay.........no prize money, but you can have a little fun! Maybe it'll be so great, that a book will sponsor it, after the trial run!

I will run this weekend as a test period, to see if anyone wants to play. After that.....we will start the next weekend!

RULES

You must pick exactly 6 games in the NBA, each week. (Mon-Sun) 5 games will be single points, and 1 game will be doubled. (you must specify your double point game)

Points are scored by how much you beat the spread by. Points are deducted by how badly you get hammered by the spread. Thus, it is not only important to be correct in your play, but not far off, if you lose.

If you fail to post 6 plays, you will be assigned the worst possible score for any missed games. Sorry.....

All plays must be posted in the official thread! You can make up to 3 posts, but can't edit any of them!

The lines I use, will be the closing lines at "scores and odds".

Your cumulative weekly scores will determine your standings.

Since the NBA season is so long, I will break the 'contest' into a few of them. 6 weeks sounds like a nice 'season' to me, so that's how it shall go.

Now, if this sounds like it will test your skill, sign up in this thread, and let's go!

One question: Is there any way that only weekdays will be used?

It is hard for me to make time to post on weekends. Unbelievable, but it really is. If I am able to play in this, I will supply the first "season's" winner with a t-shirt from my company.

The t-shirt is dark grey with the logo in the top left hand corner on the front pocket area and across the back. Nothing special, but I thought I would offer.

Dawg,

That will be amended. I just chose the weekend, because of the amount of games on those days. The contest could run mon-sun, but you could still only have a maximum of three posts.

I actually read it wrong. That makes sense.

Let me know what I would need to do to donate a t-shirt.
