NBA Finals Game 1

Yes, the Western Finals is essentially the NBA Finals for 2003. Screw the east! This is going to be a great series.

I'm going with San Antonio in Game 1.

San Antonio is more rounded and plays more under control. They are more rested. They have been here before. And they have the MVP of the league. Spurs, therefore, should win Game 1. Can they cover the number? As seen in Game 1 & 4 of the Sacramento/Dallas series, Dallas doesn't perform well after a hard fought battle. When they lose, they lose big.

I am also taking the under. Dallas hasn't seen this type of defense in this year's playoffs. I hate to say this, but Spurs can play like Detroit when they want to, which is ugly defensive basketball.

Game 2 might be a different story, but for now, it's....
