Talking heads will tell you that the Spurs hit a wall in the second half, that the fact they slept on a plane after playing a Game 7 cost them the game. Don't be fooled. They panicked. Kobe led the Lakers back to within seven points to start the fourth and the Spurs kept looking for the dagger to put the Lakers away. They shot 3-20 in the quarter, including 1-9 from three. Why are you attempting nine three-pointers when you are up by seven points??? Look for the Spurs to come back more disciplined tonight. Had they gone to the basket, gotten a few more free throws, they would be holding a 1-0 series lead.

Agree it is probably the right play, but don't forget the lakers played like shit too most of the game. And all 9 3 balls attempted weren't up by 7, Lakers closed the lead rather quickly.

ur right the spurs played some really ignorant ball down the stretch the other night.

Just an awful, awful call. Sorry to anybody who tailed. I may post one or two more plays to finish the postseason, but I see no reason to give back what I earned thus far. Good luck in your wagers.
