I won't be on the side. My play for that game is the Over 135.5. I think Stanford has been looking to run and I could see them putting up close to 70 shots again. I think Wichita will look to play a slower style but will eventually get caught up and the pace will be uptempo.

Always good to see an old face! Your bookie must hate you!!!

ny/orl

just a little something i looked up......

as we all know the 3's are going to play an important part in this game.......ny went 8-28 from three land and orl went 13-34 last time these 2 teams met.....thats 21-82 from beyond the ark between the two.......there were a staggering 49 fouls called between the two....ny was 23-30 and orl 21-31 from the line........thats alot of stoppage of the clock....between the 3's and the foul line they scored 107 between the two.........and 21-82 from 3's is about 26%....one thing i know is that orlando is coming to play ball......they cannot overlook this team because boston is next on their schedule so the effort should be there.......they r trying to catch boston for 2nd round home-court and they need this win badly.......the line opened at 5 and is now at 6......

You just crack me up ETZ. Is there any commentator you like? in the NBA, not EPL?

Doug Collins - All-American as a collegian, excellent pro - excellent insights after what was really a mediocre to average career as a head coach.

Mike Fratello/Marv Albert - more for their droll sarcasm - works best when it's just the 2 on the YES network as opposed to having Reggie Miller in the mix and Miller's ego pushing both to the edge of the table.

Mike Rice - Portland - frequently injects a story about his mother's affection for Steve Blake's play; sounds on occasion like he's drunk more than that one cocktail he mentions he has while doing the broadcast.

Jim Burnett - Golden State - although he won't badmouth Nelson, he's fairly impartial and provides good detail about how plays are executed on the floor.

Jack Armstrong - Toronto - for his unadulterated deep Brooklyn accent; deduct points for his tendency to criticize players AFTER they've left the Raptors, not during - but I can see that he wants to maintain good relations.

Clark Kellogg - Indiana - thumbs up... Quinn Buckner - thumbs down...

That's about it, I think...

NOW others that I'm don't look forward to -

Miami: The DWAYNE WADE can't do anything wrong and is headed for sainthood press relations team.

San Antonio: Sean Elliott -> I know you bleed Spurs silver and black along w/ your Arizona Wildcats, but nary a foul ever committed by San Antonio and always a turnover and/or misstep by the other team?

To be continued.

Guys,

See you guys been very hard at work here today. I on the other hand been selling cars today and haven't had anytime to do anything else. Like the Min/Atl under play. Just 2 cents that make you feel even better about it. About 2-3 weeks ago I saw a guy (if I remembered who it was I would say) at the old place post "always play under on the first game on the nites card from your book". Now I never tracked this myself but he said he has and it hits pretty good. I don't know if you ever heard this or have tracked it yourself. But guess whats first on the card tonight. GL guys!:toast:

Thanks Griff. You see I have a computer/browser with a severe intelligence prob. (course there's a slight chance it cud have somethin to do with the owmner).which limits my ability use one of our main stat. sites. But this is a # I'd be glad to follow and report in once a week or so. Additionally, my book has ATL. is @ 195, so this may be a good sign.

I cut Tommy slack - a lot of fans in other cities slag him for being too much of a homer, but guy played, coached (as both a player-coach and just as a coach) - and WON lots - he's Celtics through and through, played at Holy Cross after heading there from Jersey. He's more Mass than some Boston bluebood brahmin at this point...

So yeah, Heinsohn gets a pass.
