Alright, so I don't really think it's fixed...But some of these calls are very very speculative

Fxxx the ORL, they just don't want to cover the spread:shrug:
it's not fixed! When you win the close games, do you say that it's fixed too?

Give NY credit for trying to bring it to OT. I think it's something b/w Nate and Dwight. They rally their teams to put forth their best effort when facing each other.

it's like when wade and lebron square off. they don't hold back and when you see your capt give it their all, u want to too.

I just got home and I didn't watch the games. A loss is always tragic and going 0-2 for the evening is part of what I like to call a living.

With that said. I had my sports beeper with me tonight and paid a close eye on the MIN/ATL game. Maybe someone can tell me what the F happened. That had to be the worst moose I've ever experienced. I'm a level headed guy and losses come as do the wins but I don't get it. Someone, please tell me what the hell happened. I don't want espn's version, I want to know from the capper's point of view. I am so rip shit right now.

thanks

ax, at halftime, ATL dominated with a 23 pt lead. it was going to go over after that. Min can actually score in bursts if you don't play D on them.

4th quarter garbage time loss. Min put up 35+pts. Good old dependable Flip murray padded his stats jacking 3s and became the high scorer of the game. 2nd time i lost b/c of him.

Minnesota was keeping it close until about the 20 point mark and then Atlanta pulled away, enjoying a huge double digit lead going into the half. Came out, relaxed defensively and let the 'Wolves creep into the game momentarily. Bibby got 20, Johnson 20, but FLIP MURRAY contributed 30, most from deep/3 pointers... U had a chance until he started going off at the tail end of the game.

Orlando/New York
Orlando came out flat - REALLY flat - and it was only Howard who really came to play; Terkoglu and Lewis w/ 6 points TOTAL at the half. Wouldn't be surprised if someone told me that a lot of players went partying last night given how moribund they were until about the 4th. They decide to wake up, go to 100-94 and then eke out a 106-102 win... New York's inspired play? Did ANYONE know that the Knicks were going to honor Dick McGuire, Carl Braun, Richie Guerin, Willis Reed, Walt Frazier, and Patrick Ewing at the half as legends per 6 decades of the team? If I had that information, I may have been more hesitant in championing the Magic given that no player representing the current incarnation of the Knicks even if he's not there next year would want to humiliate himself in front of that personnel and the crowd that came out to pay homage.

I am utterly sorry about it folks... Really... A 36-23 4th quarter by the Magic is what I had anticipated for the full game.

Ok...thanks pal...I just had this total running in my head for some reason and thought that it was good. I'm a bit calmer now. Talked to some people and it wasn't nearly as fishy as I thought. I know my personal contacts thought this was money in the bank. such as life. tomorrow is another day. might just take a day off with such a small card and regroup for Wednesday.

but, I'm a gambler so you never know...thanks pal

i hope i win with my 2H play.

played 1 full unit on port-8
.25 unit on denver +1
.5 unit on the over 116.5.

I did this for the miami earlier and put .5 unit on Memphis-2 or 3 and won.

i don't believe port will lose (i still believe they'll win by 3-4 pts) to phi by more than 5 pts at home. they are a young time and i am banging on a 4th quarter shut down on philly. i figure they'r still young so just needed a wake up call in the 1st half. :0corn

phoenix game: it looks like denver's going to speed up the game and play their regular offense. i am hoping for a 60 pt 3rd quarter than a 65 pt 4th. i don't know who's going to win but i am banging an extra .25 unit on Den b/c pho burned me so many times. :rant2:

Thanks ETZ...the ORL loss I can live with. I'm good with that. I lose all the time...well...you know hat i mean.

I did know they were honoring all those guys but didn't think it was a big deal with today's knicks' fans and players. Like I said, I can live with this one. The other, tough one to swallow but nothing a win can't take care of...NEXT

thanks ETZ...

I got your email BTW and I'll reply soon. I'm afraid we may really be brothers from another mother. LOL

The ceremony at MSG was a pretty BIG deal - extended the half beyond normal time allocation and then had each player step out on the court into the spotlight to receive applause individually as well as a ring. It wasn't a small affair by any stretch of the imagination. Al Trautwig interviewed each participant for a short segment during live game action.

Look forward to your reply; have been thinking the same  .

exactly

exactly

So for reference, the Twolves can only muster 90 against the defensively terrible Thunder at home to screw an OVER, but can hang 97 on the tough defensive Hawks in ATL to screw an UNDER the next night.

Screw Minnesota.

i was on both of these and don't understand minne - they are becoming as incomprehendable as denver and miami.

same w/ portland. i think i'm gonna lurk w/ you guys and then fade. not cuz you guys are bad - but these teams are so tough to get a grasp on at times.
