Do you people know what the Houston Rockets are without Yao?
They are nothing more than the 2003-2004 Orlando Magic that started off 1-19
I know u people remember that.
Lets compare shall we.....
03-04 Magic 06-07 Rockets
Steven Hunter / Dikembe Mutumbo
Drew Gooden / Juwan Howard
Juwan Howard / Shane Battier
Tracy McGrady / Tracy McGrady
Tyrone Lue / Rafer Alston
Shamond Williams / Luther Head
Kieth Bogans / Chuck Hayes
Pat Garitty / Steve Novak
Za Za Pachulia / John Lucas the 3rd
Now you cant tell me theres a big difference between these rosters and T-Mac wasnt crippled back then.
Bottom line is the Rockets have been over-achieving this season, there 5-2 since Yao went down. They will be 5-3 after tonight.
The Bulls are 15-3 @ home and have beaten much better teams who like the Rockets depend on 1 superstar to carry the load.
The Bulls beat Agent 0 and the Wizards by 18
The Bulls beat The Truth and the Celtics by 18
The Bulls beat The Answer and the Sixers by 27
The Bulls beat Redd and the Bucks by 6
The Bulls beat Kobe and the Lakers by 5
The Bulls beat Flash and the Champs by 6 (although Wade got injured early in that gm)
The Bulls beat King James and the Cavs by 7
The Bulls beat Rip and the Pistons by 17
All those teams are better than the Rockets sans Yao imo.
Tonight the Bulls beat T-Mac and the over-achieving Rockets by ??
