The Hornets have the worst record in the West and somehow have not only covered but won their last three games straight up. They were 5 point dogs to Utah and 9.5 point dogs to both Milwaukee and the Knicks. If you were brave enough to put some paper on Nola money line their last three games you are up a lot with very little wagered. They face the Thunder which is the one team that has dominated them in almost every prior match up. OKC will try to beat Nola tonight for the eighth time in nine meetings. I love that the Hornets have had three days off to study OKC while OKC is playing their third game in four days. Most everything points to OKC blowing the Hornets out of the water but it's hard for me to not give Nola some respect and tail until they fail.
Next up, a short but sweet note about the DAL/BOS game. KG is expected to miss tonight's game in Dallas. Rondo might be suspended and miss as well. Line moved from DAL -6 to DAL -8 and I will take Dallas -8 right now with Rondo playing. And if it's announced that Rondo will miss the game later due to suspension then I will place another bet on Dallas no matter what the number is. Hell, the C's might even be without their head coach, Doc, tonight! I've been perfect while betting against Boston this season and yesterday was a 2-0 +7.2 units day betting against Boston for the game and the 2H. Boston is reeling and I'm gonna try to let the streak continue today.
The Bucks host the Magic just three days after their monumental collapse in Orlando. Milwaukee was up by 6 points with four minutes to play and Orlando exploded and went on a 15-0 to end the game and cover by a point and a half. I had bought the half point to get MIL at +8 so it was a very frustrating night for me and Bucks backers. Today is a new day and I'm not going to let that game phase my decision making. While Orlando is a very mediocre 6-8 ATS on the road this season I feel that they should still be at least 5.5 point road favorites against MIL. Vegas made Orlando 2.5 favorites to entice betting action. Home team is 8-3 ATS in the last 11 meetings. 68% on the Magic. I'll take the Bucks for a little wager. Staying put in Milwaukee for the my next pick is the over 186. The over is 11-2 when MIL is playing at home this season. The over is 8-0 in MIL last 8 games as a home underdog. The over is 8-1 in MIL last 9 games as an underdog. The over is 12-3-1 in MIL last 16 home games. This is my big play.
Let's have another stellar day, gents!
My plays:
