Denver looks horrid early. Hopefully they pull their heads out of their asses sooner than later. Favorites are on a nice run this week going 4-0-1 ATS the past 2 days. Hopefully a couple dogs cover tonight.

Updated Record now 9-5-3 +27.1*

Both pushes the last 2 days could have been wins with New Jersey last night and Denver tonight. Nice job Nene missing the 2 foot layup at the end of the game. Great missed dunk by Camby late in the 4th quarter. Just glad I didn't lose, but should have been a winner.

Warriors scaring me as they're not playing any defense tonight.

Well going for the middle on Dallas/Golden State.

Dallas 2nd half -5 (+115) for 5*... Now I just need Dallas to win by 8 or 9 points to get the middle.
I think the Mavericks will come out focused and pull away for the victory.

10-6-3 +25.65* - Glad I hedged Golden State last night. Should have played larger on the 2nd half Dallas, but I wanted to make sure I would profit with a Golden Shower Cover.

Tonight, going with Detroit -2 for 7* - Pistons have been awesome on the road all season and now that their foot is on Orlando's throat, I expect them to finish them off tonight.
Pistons 94 Magic 87

Still reviewing the other games. Currently leaning towards Houston if the line goes to 5.

Lakers +4 for 6.5*... I think the Lakers will give a solid effort knowing they'll get swept if they don't win tonight. Phoenix will hopefully be a little overconfident as well.

2nd half middle play (playing light as Detroit has momentum on their side).

Orlando -.5 (+5.5 for game) for 3* (+110)... Getting plus money made this a small play.

I have Pistons -2 for 7* so would win 4* if Detroit rolls by 6 or more. I'm hoping Pistons win by 3 to 5.

Going to be out of town for the weekend so won't be able to post.

Overall Playoff Record: 12-8-3 +29*... Should have never tried the 2nd half middle with Orlando.

Friday:
Toronto +5 (-120) for 6* - Suprised at this line and like the Raptors quite a bit.

Chicago +6 (-120) for 6* - Bulls are playing great and no reason to see them lay a dud on the road.

Dallas -3 (-120) for 6* - Golden State's lack of size will cost them tonight. Dallas look focused the 2nd half and they will win this series sooner than later now.

Back from the weekend trip to the lake.

13-10-3 +20.6* for playoffs

Tonight:
Toronto +4.5 for 6.5* - Nets are the obvious pick after Kidd and Carter went off in game #3. However, I expect the Raptors to have a solid effort after getting destroyed in 2 of the 3 games. Raptors season is on the line as well so Bosh and Ford should have big games.

Still debating Dallas/Golden State.

Horrible Pick on the Raptors. I apologize.

Golden State ML (+150) for 8.5*. If I lose this game, considering slowing down for the remainder of the playoffs. Started out hot, but I have since cooled off. Golden State looked like a machine the other night and I'm banking on another monster game from Baron Davis. Dallas will make some adjustments, but Warriors prevail and take a commanding lead in this series.
Prediction: Golden State 105 Dallas 101

Going to take a break until the 2nd round win or lose on the Golden State game. I'm really pissed about taking the Raptors earlier and I have more important things going in my life than to spend so much time watching the NBA playoffs.

Just went out to dinner with my wife last night and another couple, but I was checking the scores on my phone despite my wife telling me to stop. I'm sure many of you have been in the same situation.

I have also gotten cold and before I give back anymore profits, I'm going to take a break for at least a few days.

Since I predicted Golden State would win by 4 points and they won by exactly 4 points... going to play small tonight.

Cleveland -6 for 5* - Wizards are thoroughly done and don't see any reason for the Cavs to not pull away tonight.
Cleveland 98 Washington 85

Utah +7 (-120) for 5* - Jazz showed some heart dominating past 2 games in this series. I'll grab 7 points without thinking twice.
Houston 92 Utah 90

Got a very lucky win with Cleveland. Doesn't get much luckier as they never lead by more than 7 points the entire game:00hour

Denver ML (+115) for 7*... Do or die time for the Kind Nuggets and I think they give a 100% effort tonight. Sure Spurs won rather easily on Saturday night, but tonight's contest should be a tight contest with Denver pulling out the late victory.
Prediction: Denver 98 San Antonio 93

Spurs 2nd half -3 (+5 for game) for 3*... small middle play as I expect the Spurs to come back. Duncan is going to start getting some calls.

17-12-3 +32.2* - Getting back on track with some winners. Very close to getting the middle last night, but Big Shot Bob killed the Kind Nuggets. Denver really choked when it counted most.

Back this afternoon with tonight's games.

Well, just put in a few minutes handicapping and I'm going with the following:

Toronto -3 (-120) for 5* - Tough to back the Raptors after the beatings they have taken this series, but I think they make New Jersey win this series in game #6. Ford's status with the flu is a concern, but my guess is Bosh and someone else step up tonight and force game #6 with a nice win.

Golden State +10 (-120) for 5* - A spot where I expect everyone to be backing the Mavericks. I was considering it myself, but Golden State should be excited as they have a golden chance to make history tonight. Baron Davis is unstoppable right now and Golden State might end the series tonight IMO.

Toronto sure knows how to put a team away:142smilie :mj07:

Anyway, got one early play tonight:

Denver +8 for 5.5* - Nuggets were looking so good in game #4 before choking in the 4th quarter. I'm not sure if Denver will come focused, but I like their chances to cover this spread tonight.

Still undecided on the late game.

Lakers +11 for 5.5*... Sure Phoenix should win this game, but winning by 12+ points will be very difficult IMO. Kobe should also have a large night as Bell could be sidetracked with the birth of his child.

19-14-3 +30.1*

I just can't get hot again. A continual back and forth going 11-11 in my last 22 decisions. I guess it could be worse.

Tonight:
Houston +5 (-120) for 4*... Small play as I don't like the way Houston has looked in Utah. However, tonight Tracy has a shot to win his first playoff series. I see McGrady having another monster game and Ming dominating as well helping Houston prevail. Going to take the points for insurance, but would consider the ML.

Still undecided on Golden State/Dallas. Leaning Mavericks, but undecided right now. Dallas should have a lot of monentum IMO after their dramatic win in game #5.
