Im gonna open this up today to try and spawn some conversation about this weekends games and the series prices as well.

EARLY LEANS

Denver -5 Even if Boozer plays he is going to be playing at a fraction of his normal prowess. He is a beast around the rim and I just don't see how he is gonna be the same with a pulled muscle in his rib. The one area I thought Utah would dominate this series on was the offensive rebounding now a lot of that edge will be gone. Unless Milsap steps up HUGE this should be a 8-10 point win.

Boston -4.5 I see a lot of love for Miami in the forums I peruse and I thought I loved them too until I dug a little deeper. Not only did Miami get swept this season by Boston they did it with a patched up line up each time except when they went to Miami and won by 7. Boston is not gonna go deep in these playoffs but they will get by Miami is 5 maybe 6 if Wade does his thing.

MILW/ATL Under 186 - Scott Skiles knows he cant run with the Hawks he is going to have his team use up every second of every shot clock and I dont think either team gets to 90 here.

Lets here what you guys are thinking.

I like the Denver and I love the Under in MILW/ATL games, but I'm not sure about the boston. They might be too old at this point.

Likem JBril, not sure about backing the Celts, think the Heat might take it to them in the playoffs and the Celts age starting to show. Debating Bulls/Cavs O/U, saw a stat on the other site article regarding DD Favs in Round 1 are pretty good ATS.

Hello again

Hello again

Hey guys, hope everyone has been doing well, glad the Playoiffs are FINALLY here :00hour

I started to slump toward the end of the year, and was feeling a little burned out, so hopefully the time off has helped.

I think Boston may have been coasting a little bit, waiting for the playoffs to really give max effort, so I lean Celts today.
I also like the Bulls a lot today. :scared
The Cavs have an unreal ATS record in the 1st 2 rounds the last couple of years, but I think Lebron may be a tad rusty, and I think the return of Shaq will disrput thier chemistry a little, kind of like the beginning of the year in his first few games.
CHICAGO has been better on the road (7-4-1 ATS) then at home (4-6-1 ATS) in L4 years of playoffs.

Also leaning over in the Hawks game. Be back in a bit with a play or 2. kurby

Playoff Record 0-0

Locked in

Bulls +11 2 Units

Jazz-Nugs Under 208 2 Units

Bucks +8.5 2 Units

Bucks Over 186 1 Unit

I feel like that the Bucks wiothout Bogut, will play "small ball" and run at every opportunity. The Hawks have trouble putting teams away, and the Bucks were great ATS on the road this year.

Played the Nugs under due to Denver's recent lack of scoring, and the injuries on Utah's side. I look for that to be a high intensity game, with plenty of tough defense.

Best of luck fellas. :toast:

You gotta love round one

You gotta love round one

4 games no overlap. NBA athon day 1

Nice to see everyone back. I am going to move slow here.

Billy I love how you say I will be back with a play or two and hit us with 4....

These teams have had 3 days to prepare for these teams and how they can stop them.

With that said my 1st lean and possible POD will be the UNDER IN Denver. So many reasons this game goes under.

I also lean Under in Atlanta. I may play all the home teams in a ML Parlay.

My last notes deal with the C's game I want to take those 4 and see how it goes. The C's look bad....the Heat look sweet. The Public is still supporting the C's. Who knows

Glad to see you boys back on here again. Im leaning laying all the chalk the rest of the day but I am going to start with this one first.

Hawks -8
I would lean towards the over in this game but not sure if the Bucks will put up enough points.

1-0 in the playoffs so far.

Taking the Nugs against a banged up Jazz team seems too easy. However, I think the Jazz spent a ton of energy the last few games and will struggle against the high scoring Nugs at home.

Denver -5.5
