Greetings,

Nice week thus far I'd say. I'm at a holiday family/friends reunion in the Berkshires and ran into some old friends. In this circle, you can throw a dart blind-folded and hit a capper. Well, just for fun, someone suggested an NBA pool for the evening. Sides only pick 5 of 9 and winner take all. If there's a tie, the pot is split even. These guys know I don't play many sides and want my money ;) . Ante is my regular 1U so why not. Beat 9 guys and I won't need to play for a week if I hit :142smilie. Wish me luck fellas :toast: .

HOUSTON +5

UTH/MIN 197
TOR/CHI 200
DEN/SA 207
SAC/PHO 227
ATL/DAL 204
HOU/POR 194
IND/LAC 191

Looks like I'm going to dig deeper on Toronto/Chicago and maybe Houston/Portland. Also going to look at Indiana/Clippers game and why I'm so far off.

One OVER PLAY

Yesterday I love an under... today it's an OVER. PHILA visits CHAR and the line is 187. However this doesn't reflect what these teams have been doing if you check the team stats. Since CHAR acquired JAX they have doing much better, especially at home, and PHILA has been giving it up on the road, and average of 106 per game Pts Allowed in their last 6 roadies.

These two played last month and PHILA prevailed 86-84, but tonight will be much different.

Ax, your get-together sounds great.

This is the only thing I miss about no longer living in Vegas - not being able to hang out with fellow cappers. Nowadays if I tell people I'm a handicapper, they look at me with jealousy; wondering why I should get all the good parking spaces.

GL, my only play today is Portland.

Just got home from a poker evening ... didn't play any BB today ... but now I see that I have to sit up and cheer on Houston and Golden State for AX
