Early game:

Toronto +8' (3x)
-Toronto won all three meetings with Cleveland this season. Since the All-Star break, Toronto has posted a better net rating, better defensive rating, higher assist rate and a lower turnover rate than Cleveland. Ultimately I expect the Cavs' talent to prevail over a lengthy series, but I'm gonna take the points with Toronto in Game 1. The Cavs were favored by at least five points in every game of the Eastern Conference semifinals against the Pacers last year and they lost 4-1, including a nine-point home loss as an 8.5-point favorite in Game 1.

Denver -6 (3x)
-Denver went 3-1 straight-up and against the spread in this Western Conference matchup with Cleveland during the regular season. The Nuggets ended the regular season on a 12-game winning streak to earn the 3-seed in the West. Minnesota was never really able to get into a groove all season. The T-Wolves went 37-45 against the spread this year, posting one of the worst marks in the league. Over the last 15 games, Minnesota is 14th in net rating, 23rd in offensive rating, 24th in assist rate, 22nd in rebounding rate, 21st in turnover rate and 22nd in effective field goal shooting. I have Denver winning by 12-14 so I recommend talking the Nuggs in this one.

On the fence on this one, the one thing that stands out is Toronto 3-0 against Cavs all that was before the Harden trade, I liked the Cavs with Garland running the offense. I thought the Cavs made a mistake in that trade in my opinion. G/L Jr

New York -4' (4x)
-Atlanta has played good basketball over the last few months but nearly every marquee win came under very favorable circumstances where the opponent was missing its best players. The Hawks were a good bully, but rarely did they punch above their weight class. Atlanta is just 3-8 against the spread over its last 11 games as an underdog. The Knicks have had the Hawks' number over the last two seasons.
