2-0 on TRIPLE PLAYS
3-2 on DOUBLE PLAYS
add in FRI NITE's win, and I'm up OVER 15 UNITS this weekend!
On to today's games:
Denver at TORONTO
NUGGETS are very JECKYL / HYDE. Play well and score at home, can't score or win on the road it seems. TORONTO on the otherhand pretty much don't score period! They had a horrific effort the other nite in WASH and based on that, most would say DENVER is worth a look here. NOT me... TORONTO has been taking care of business at home, going 3-0 beating NJ, WASH, and DAL. 3 pretty good teams there and they won by 3, 3, and 6. Now come the NUGGETS who are known to have offensive struggles and they're playing here in CANADA where the RAPTORS feast on opponents defensively. TOR held the DALLAS MAVS to 71 pts on THURS!!!! So with that being said, how am I playing this one... well, the line is -5.5 / 165 now, and I've said it often, I rarely suggest going under a number that low. I just can't do it. Too many things can happen to push that over. I'm also not that confident laying 5.5 when there may only be 155 pts scored in a game. Laying pts in low scoring games can be scary. Soo..... this is what I'm doing.
TEASE: TOR -1 & PHILA PK 2 Units
Basically, I can't see TOR and PHILA both losing today, but it seems like NBA teams are distracted on NFL SUNDAYS and are pissed they're playing and not able to watch the games or something. They dont' seem to be into it for some reason, so I can't justify laying many pts with the home favorites. What I plan to do is play this teaser for 2 Units and possibly tease IND later to SEA to try and middle, or just wait til HT and see how PHILA is doing. With the NFL going full bore today, not too interested in giving back any units today due to time restraints or bad play by home teams.
