I am not overly excited about today's NBA card. Here is what I've got for today...

Milwaukee -5 * (Both teams are struggling. The Bucks are the better team and will prevail. I think they cover this one late.)

Memphis +9 * (Early line movement in Memphis' favor. I tend not to agree with the public in these situations, but they may be right this time.)

Utah -2 * (Utah has been playing very well on the road of late. I don't like taking small road favorites, but I'll ride the Jazz until they lose.)

LA Lakers +5 ** (Of an upset home loss to the Hawks. Portland may have been looking ahead to this game when they lost to the Celtics. Even without Shaq, I think the Lakers can run with the Blazers. Lakers may win this game outright.)

LA/Portland OVER 192.5 ** (We will see a lot of points in this game. Games in Portland usually go over, but that is with Shaq on defense. No defense today for either team!)

Seattle +12.5 ** (Seattle plays competitve ball versus the Kings, or at least they have been over the last few seasons. Let's hope they do today.)

I may have a three-unit selection on Dallas/Phoenix later!

Phoenix to fire Scott Skiles

Phoenix to fire Scott Skiles

With the assumed firing of Phoenix coach, Scott Skiles, I don't know if I want to lay anything on this game.

My early lean was to play Dallas VERY BIG, but this may not be a good idea anymore. I will continue to look into this game and will be back at 7pm EST with a decision.
