Minneapolis, MN (Sports Network) - Minnesota Timberwolves swingman Wally Szczerbiak is expected to see his first action of the season in tonight's home game against the Milwaukee Bucks.



Szczerbiak has sat out the past 11 games (including six preseason) due to a dislocated fifth metatarsal bone in his left foot suffered October 8 against the Bucks.

On October 31, the Timberwolves signed Szczerbiak to a six-year contract extension, through the 2008-09 season.

Szczerbiak had a streak of 196 consecutive starts broken when he missed the season-opener against Denver. Szczerbiak is coming off a season in which he averaged a career-high 18.7 points per game and earned his first All-Star Game appearance. He also shot a career-high 45.5 percent from three-point range, placing fourth in the league

Richard Hamilton jammed his ring finger on his right (shooting) hand late in Wednesday's game, according to the Detroit News. However, he doesn't expect to miss tonight's game.

Allen Iverson injured his right thumb during Wednesday's game, and the Sixers are expected to find out today the severity of the injury, according to the Philadelphia Daily News. Iverson indicated that he first thought he broke the thumb, and the team hasn't exactly ruled that possibility out.

no all, be careful on that money-line on Minn. Szczerbiak returning might not have the effect you exspect. Even tho Minn has not been playing as well without him as they would with him, tonight might be a different story. Trying to work him into the rotation could throw them totally out of sync on offence, defence, or both. Before I would bet on them I would give them a couple of days to play together. Good luck
