2nd half....

I already took the bulls +12.5 for all the reasons i stated above, its the only game i played tonight. The halftime thing is tough because the bulls will win this game if they can get a call but its an absoulute joke the amount of calls they dont get...if they just got the correct calls theyd be up no less than 20 at half. That being said, if i was gonna make a play it would be chi +12 but im probably gonna pass and keep my +20.5 2nd half.....good luck....

First off that Halftime line is a bit weird and I , of course passed, however if I had to make a play on it I would have taken the raptors -11, because if it looks too weird I usually jump it, (not my best handicapping tool..

Scuba, I'll give you a little reasoning in a bit I am trying to work the college scene..

2nd half
griz/knicks

was a little shocked at how high the 2nd half line is -10 1/2...so the knicks have to win by 8, while i dont think much of memphis, i sure dont trust the knicks enough to come out and blow anyone out. If i made a play it would be on memphis + 10 1/2, but im planning on passing on this one.

Dnug, Nick Douglas is one of the cappers on the free picks page. I dunno if you have checked it out or not? Top right, click the free picks link, you will see a couple cappers there, he is one of them.

Keep up the good work all

Memphis at NEW YORK

Again, par of the reasoning for this play is the fact JT has a 2 UNIT play on KNICKS in the game at -11. I can now lay -9.5 or -6.5 for the game, so shouldn't I play it for at least 3 units??? I think NY played a bad half of BB and anyone that knows MEMPHIS well, knows they rarely play 2 good halves a nite, hence they used their good half to build a mere 3 pt lead... NY was down a lot more in this one, and closed the gap, I'm looking for them to come back and cover here, maybe even the double digits. In order to do so, they need to score some pts, so I'm playing both NY and OVER here.

NY -9.5 3 Units
NY OVER 92.5 2 Units

Okay Scuba, I'll try to drop a little reasoning on the rockets....

I am going to make it short, but when I get on a rant who knows..
biggrin.gif

First thing open your history books...The rockets have always played tough against the Lakers, can I explain it? nope, but they do. Evidence will point to the 6-2 mark ats they have against the lakers in the last 8 meetings, to include a one point loss in this building in November. Now the rockets have went through a serious losing streak and some serious injuries, but some players have emerged as suprise players for the Rockets, and they are actually playing much better.

The Lakers eem to sleep walk in games they should kill the opponet in especially if they have two or more days rest. In fact when they have that much rest and won thelast game by 10 points they are just 1-6 ats. When they are on the road after two home wins just 2-9 against the number, and not that they would be looking ahead to the grizz, but before they play them they are just 1-4 straight up, and 0-5 against the number.
Houston is hurt and playing bad, but it could actually be in their favor as they are a whooping 10-1 ats when they have lost two su and ats. The Rockets also, for some reason play well after Portland beats thenm up as they are 4-1 su, and 5-0 ats.

The rockets are not intimidated by the Lakers, and as far as Laker standards go they are not playing well. We have to win one sooner or later," Thomas said. "Why not let it be the Lakers?"

Added forward Eddie Griffin: "We'll have nothing to lose. We'll try to play hard. It would show we could play. That would be a big plus for us if we could pull it off."

Tomjanovich called on his growing taste for wit and deadpanned his amen.

"I think," he said, "we've got them right where we want them."

You would have to be bold or stupid to think the Rockets win this outright.

One Unit selection:
Rockets +700

Let's go with bold, stupid sounds so negative..

Hopes this helps Steve, now if you could just get my five year old to do his homework.

JT.....not to mention that when Phil empties the bench near game's end the Lakers level of play drops off BIG time.

Against GS on Sunday night when Madsen, Medvedenko, Walker and Shaw went in to "play the game out" LAL barely covered the -15!

Back-a-doors always a possiblity but see your looking for the SU win with the ML. GL JT ez

Thanks for keeping the faith RC, the way I look at it is simple....

If the rockets lose, it was a no brainer, and the triple covers the loss...

If the Rockets win outright we look like a genuis, and we get paid...

and they are up 2-0...

Milw -1/103

JT & RC, Tor already covered 2nd half, with Possible OT in NY (88-88, 58.8 sec to go, god knows Knicks might cover) Therefore, leaning toward Bucks -1!!!

Milw at DALLAS

Wow... BUCKS get outshot by 16% 53.7 to 37.7 and are only down 6. Pretty shocking... lots of shots so far, and shoddy defense here. 112 PTS already, and it's playing right into DALLAS's hands at this pace... KARL is a great coach, and he'll have his team slow up the pace in 2H, work the ball in as neither team is strong upfront, and let BIG DOG & MASON work on Nowitski and Howard. I like the BUCKS here and the UNDER. Getting to go UNDER 215, (or 9.5 from the closing) is enticing as a few GSP and IE liked the UNDER in the game. I also side with the WISE GUYS and like MILW +5 here.

MILW -1 2 Units
UNDER 103 3 Units

I grabbed the bucks at +6 with the roosters, so I am sitting on a push at this time, and I still think the bucks have a chance of winning this one outright, but I will stick with the -1 ...pizmo, are the favorites covering more in the second half tonight?

Two Unit Selection:

Bucks -1
