Axman, just wanted to say thanks for last week. Great week, at least for me. Other than 2 tuff losses last night, I also played my own (not smart) and overall the day was a loss, BUT looking forward to gettin it back in due time. Keep up the GREAT WORK, thanks again...

Thanks pal...had a profitable week myself but starting this week in a hole...not concerned...part of what we do. :toast:

Would favor the Pistons against the Bulls - Bulls and Pistons now both 7/8 in the Conference; Bulls really have no coaching advantage in Del Negro versus Curry - wherever Pistons end up, team at the top end of the conference standings that faces them will not be excited, especially if it's the Magic since Detroit has OWNED them this season.

I'm a Pistons homer and I haven't bet on them for a good while and actually went against them more often than not. Did so in the Heat game and given Heats performance they (Pistons) should have blown them off the court and shut the door by the half time.
I absolutley hate how we're playing this season, I like the players but it seems like the mix is too polar and its not working properly. We have old veterans in Sheed, Rip, McDyess, AI (ew why get him) and Prince, and then a bunch of young guns in Stuckey, Afflalo, Amir...only Bynum is in between age wise and I think that's one big issue affecting the play. When the veterans are playing it's a different kind of game and mindset compared to the young guys, and what's missig are proper people. I would like to have, ie Rip to lead, Prince, some young tough center like Gasol #2 or Nene, Stuckey and one 26+ yr old SF or PF...with young talents off bench and Bynum + McDyess to keep them tight and not let them lose leads.
The way things are going now, feels like there is no spirit, no glow, nothing that will get them up a notch when it's needed (basically what I'm saying is that Sheed got too old). They can blow up at any time on the floor.

Don't like to lay many points with Bulls, but they seem like far better and much stronger team now and it's breaking my heart.

I personally, will probably lay off this game, but if I had to bet something, I'd be taking Bulls in a heartbeat and feeling good about it.

Make me believe, fuckers!

I'm a Pistons homer

Man, that's the worst feeling...I remember the tail end of the 80's and the early 90's when the end was near for the C's.

Got a lean on the total here? Can I just call you Rooster? I love the nickname and your avatar fits?

Nickname is The Meters song, and the struttin' is my game! :D Rooster is good too, as long as no one tries to snuff the rooster

No leans on total as I haven't had a chance to look through it, but first thoughts are:
-Stuckey/Afflalo can't defend Gordon/Rose
-Bulls is a jumper-shooting team and Pistons guards will probably get sucked into that game style.

Lotsa shooting -> over

Thanks Rooster...I was leaning this way myself...If you have any further info on your homer...kindly pass that along please. This game has me interested.
Thanks

Pistons homer here as well. I cannot bring myself to play on this Pistons team, even when getting these points. The Bulls are an incredibly athletic team, and the squad the Pistons throw on the court each night is far from it. We have the Stuckey, Afflalo, Bynum, Hermann, angle, but then we also rotate the in Prince, McDyess, and Brown. Any illusions that this frontcourt will hold down the athletic Thomas, Noah, and Salmons are wrong. Gordon is a very efficient scorer, and while Afflalo can hang with him, I don't see Stuckey holding Rose in containment. I cannot play the Bulls here either, however, because the Pistons have been in nearly every game of late, and this is two+ possessions to cover, so it's a no play for me. Slight lean to the over, however, because this Bulls team will run, and they will score. The Pistons can go through painful droughts though, and it really is horrible to watch at times. They will isolate Tayshaun and let him use the clock until about 8 seconds left on the shot clock and then hope for him to get into the paint or post up. I may throw a 1/4 unit on the over here, and just crack one and watch the game!
